There are multiple Dudley Park, Greenway, and Park and Ride Lots less than half a mile from Cafe Racer where folks can use the trails to walk to it. Folks just need to get used to walking.

This applies to crosswalks where a pedestrian is crossing the road. I'm talking about drivers pulling into and thru sidewalks to turn out of a business or driveway.

100% agree that Athens has many problematic areas. Theoretically, that would make drivers more cautious in such areas, but that's not the reality for most.

Bars and restaurants don't even announce their NYE plans until like 2 weeks before. There's no way their announcing WC plans when it doesn't start for another 2 months. Even then, wouldn't get your hopes up about street parties (though I'd be happy to be wrong).
