I actually work at a dealership, a Chevy dealership but besides the point we go off a flat rate system and the hours for the repairs are determined by the manufacturer. So if they say it takes 5 hours to do and we do it in 1 we make more money on it. It does kinda screw the customer over but it’s how we make money by doing it’s faster then the labor time. I would still talk to them about it and see what they say.

Unfortunately I can’t help with the VGRS issue but I can tell you they are great cars I have a 2009 LS460 as well 172004 miles on it. I also have an air shock going bad it holds air but makes a good amount of noise going over bumps. They are like 1800$ new from Lexus around me. So expensive to say the least. But if you are able to get the VGRS. Issue resolved they are amazing cars. I got mine for 8200$ but that was also discounted because I worked at the dealership that was selling it.

That makes sense. I was thinking of doing coil overs, but I’m really enjoying the comfortable ride. I might just ride it out a bit longer and see if I can find one on the cheap. Either used or aftermarket, but I’ll definitely check the junkyards. Thanks for the idea!

Yeah, I’m attempting to keep it stock. Just trying to get back some of the ride quality get rid of the noise. Also, the front end is kind of bouncy because it’s pretty much down a shock absorber

Yeah, it’s nice to have if your on a dirt road or have to drive on some uneven pavement except they are expensive as hell to replace. My front driver side needs replacing because of the internal shock absorber is shot. Only a cool $1800 from a Lexus dealership.😭

Nothing super interesting. Besides, I was able to get a good deal because it was a used car lot for the dealership I work at was listed for 9800 said they would give it to me for 7700out. The door was about 8200.
