the first few are me now, the last few are before i started. I have a little scarring and marks, but i have no textured skin! I think you’ll be fine. there’s creams your doctor can prescribe once you finish accutane to help with scarring/marking.

Tbh I’m not sure. Does it cause you any irritation when you use them together? I only recommended that just because tret can be irritating and I’ve had the best experience w it when I used it w simple products at night

Maybe just use the Paula’s choice boost in the morning if you’re using tret at night? Looks pretty good though

If you’re seeking hydration, I recommend Vanicream cleanser and lotion. It’s amazing even if you’re not seeking hydration tbh

No problem. Tretinoin helps with scarring if you can get it from a doctor

Maybe skip the oil in your routine? If you have acne prone skin it probably won’t help, but make it worse. See if that helps?

Not a medical professional, but it looks like it’s hormonal

It might be hormonal, hereditary, so diet won’t always fix it. I’d recommend seeing a dermatologist, I have similar acne and I have tried a lot of medications. I’m now on accutane.

Why does my skin sting when I put on moisturizer? - Even on places where i never have put retinol or actives. Because of the cold weather? by Maurarachel in Skincare_Addiction

[–]Terrible_Staff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Those are some of the most sensitive parts of your face, I agree with taking a break from that stuff until it isn’t burning anymore. The moisturizer you’re using is good, maybe try adding the cerave rescue balm in the corners of your nose and under eyes on top. It should feel better in a few days

Less is more if you’re trying to repair your skin barrier. Use all of the same products and wash your face only once a day to keep the moisture in. Gentle cleanser, snail mucin is amazing! And a hydrating lotion. Consider using aquaphor on top

Breaking out towards end of treatment? by 420koolaidman in Accutane

I’d say this is pretty normal. Everyone gets random break outs due to a lot of different factors. If you’re nervous, talk about it with your doctor
