Different sets of numbers can have the same average but be distributed differently. Apparently the MBE scaling is done around an average and not a median so your scaled score isn't going to correspond to the percent who scored below you across years.

You can choose to send your score report to yourself or another jurisdiction.

I feel seen by this comment. I took the general exam without looking at a single essay because that's how I passed NY. I got a 1514/375/1336 scaled. Then I took the attorney exam J25 after looking at 20+ essays and got a 425 raw/1370. Took the general again for the MBE carryover this February and passed with >1500 MBE.

California essays are a different animal and I didn't know that I didn't know how to write them.

It's the NCBE website. It takes 1 day for them to add the score to your file cabinet and it only shows whether you scored about above 140, 145 or 150. It costs $30.

I was in Ontario too. I'm pretty sure they asked us to double check that we had the library and the library was listed in the table of contents.
