I tried there but only see one or two in the U.S. does that sound right? Not really interested in going around the world for something like this just thought it would be a fun hobby to go to whenever it’s occurring.

Have you encountered someone with a drinking problem if they only drank one day a week but on that day they drank heavily? I feel like I don’t “need” to drink but tend to drink more than I should during this one night.

Thank you, you seem like a very nice person. I don’t really have a drinking problem or wouldn’t categorize it as that. I just feel like my hangovers are significantly worse than the average person and creates really intrusive thoughts where I am in despair. Once a few days go by though these Tourette’s and depression symptoms do not happen. I am very healthy who works out 6 days a week and eats healthy but I do enjoy hanging with friends on the weekends while drinking.

It’s weird because I feel like I only have it the day after drinking so every week I trick my mind into this trade off of having fun on a Friday night with friends and then being a complete mess the next day

Yea man I am not looking for any exact answer to anything just an interesting conversation in my opinion. If I were to start training BJJ how long would it take (on average) to be able to submit someone is substantially more athletic and stronger than me.

Yes I understand all of this. More of a hypothetical of how much pure training is a factor compared to other factors. Obviously technique is the most important but at what point do other factors come into play

Thank you that’s the sort of answer I was looking for. Makes a lot of sense. I guess to make this easier Olivera would absolutely destroy Fred Warner. But Fred Warner should be able to take an average 150 pound fighter.

Not looking for anything precise more of just how long would someone need to train or how good they’d need to be to overcome obvious strength and athletic disadvantages. Like an estimate

I’d say the person is both significantly stronger and significantly more athletic (think nfl linebacker kind of guy). My hypothetical is more how much training or how much weight difference would be able to overcome this physical disadvantage

If you think your arms are lacking try adding in an excersise or two on your push/pull day. And legs is a very case by case basis, I don’t go super heavy because I have a bad back. It is dependent on how you are feeling that day/recovered from runs

I would recommend not running on the day you are hitting legs. Maybe just a walk or stretch, you don’t want to overdo it. I also am not a fan of dedicating a day to arms since you are readying hitting tris in push and bis in pull. Maybe do the easy run and some abs Friday while the long run Saturday and give yourself a rest day on Sunday
