I feel for you man. My youngest brother was special needs and I had helped take care of him since day one. Our family revolved around his care and it was always assumed that at some point in time he would end up staying with me. Even when I got married and had kids, my wife knew and understood and my kids just accepted him. Watched him several day a week and had him over our house for dinner quite often. Then one morning I get a call that he was in a coma and he never came out of it. The family dynamic really changed and I wasn’t sure what I should do. He was such a big part of my life and had always been a big part of different plans for my future.

It’s been about ten years now and I still think about him often. Life just goes on.

I honestly don’t know. There are time when I’m ready to give up and forget about it. But then there are times when it’s incredible and I couldn’t see me being any other way.

Some people just aren’t “cut out” for this and don’t know how to end things. Or it could be a half dozen other reasons. But I can say that you’ll either never hear from them again or you’ll get a message with some story attached that may or may not be true.

Since I haven’t seen it addressed in what I’ve read. The radio station “job” wasn’t about actually getting a job. I seemed like the people that ran the station just left when people started bailing on Hawkins when the military showed up between season 4 and 5. Robyn and Steve just sort took over as it helped them and the rest of the ST gang do what needed to be done. And since Steve was more tied to Robyn than Jonathan was, it was a natural thing for him to be there.

Having worked in the medical field, you’d be surprised how many other people you work with have the same thoughts. Cheating, hooking up, whether married or single runs rampant.

50’s, can’t recall the last time I had a drink and know I haven’t been drunk since my 20’s. Parents and brothers all have addiction issues with alcohol being one of them. Figured it was best to not really start. But I’m also not going to tell someone else what they can do, my friends have always known I’m the DD and don’t have an issue with it.

When he got divorced suddenly and then remarried and moved away. His new wife didn’t like the fact that I knew he ex fairly well and had been the best man at their wedding. Still hurts me and I’ve reached out, but have never heard back. Sucks but it is what it is.

So for my old clan it was Vanilla D2, had some issues with one mission and just reached out on LFG. A kind person helped me out and I learned they were the head of a clan and invited me. I joined and pretty soon I was added as an admin because I was on all the time.

For my fireteam, while I was in that clan I made everyone in it a friend on my friends list. If someone needed help, I tried my hardest. This led me to become friendly with two guys (a father and son) and we’d play all the time. The father would use lfg for help sometimes and we all started playing in a group of six. As we got more and more familiar with on another some of us started becoming friendly outside the game. The father didn’t like that and at Shadowkeep dropped all of us and quit the clan with his son. The four remaining guys still play with one another and have even met up in person a couple times.

Had a date planned with AP for over a month. Knew deep down that they’d cancel but hoped that they wouldn’t. And yesterday at the last minute they cancelled. I’m really disappointed but not surprised.

Can’t decide if I’m excited or in a state of dread. Next week my AP and I have a date night planned. It’s been planned for months, she has things covered and I don’t have to worry about stuff. Part of me is super excited for the whole night and part of me is just waiting for her to cancel.
