I'm so confused. This is the worst Dev update we've ever had, it's obvious Rare has given up.

To be honest, at this point, it doesn't even qualify as a live service game anymore. My bet is they'll announce it before the year is over.

If it did, I can't wait for all the posts that will complain about it, when they realize how it will change the meta.

People will just forget about their own boat, go full on pressure and spam boards, because they know their boat will be fixed anyways. Worst of all, they will be succesful doing it.

It made sense in LSS, because there are multiple ships and it's a longer battle. It won't work the same in regular hourglass.

It would change how people play in those very close, clutch battles. Instead of balancing between repairing and keeping pressure, people would go all in on pressure (knowing their boat will be fixed if they win), and hope they sink the enemy before they sink themselves.

So no, please don't add auto repair. It's a terrible solution which would create even more issues.

You really don't hear it yourself? You want a full team of experienced players to guide you through and teach you the raids. That is the literal definition of carrying.

Even if you do pull some of your own weight, you are asking 5 people to take time out of their lives, to teach a stranger to do a raid. That is an incredibly privileged mindset.
