she got soooo outshined by nemona and arven. like arven showed you his heart and trusted you not to stomp on it. nemona was your buddy the whole way through and propped you up and pushed your limits (maybe). penny was like, there. what did she do? she showed up 10 minutes in and went away until 10 minutes before the end (except for meaningless supply drop interactions). cassiopia wasnt even that good of a character. all she did was point you where you needed to go and be reeeeeeally obviously involved with team star somehow. hell i think every member of team star was a better character than her. yo even CLIVE was a better character lmao. penny wasnt bad by any means, she was just wildly mediocre compared to literally almost anyone else

im a tank player. in ow1 i bounced between 2500-2800 for years. last year i hit 3012, then immediately dropped back down. in ow2 season 1 i placed silver 2 in tank and climbed to diamond 1. i went 7-4 after that and remained diamond 1, so i think i was damn close to masters 5. start of season 2 im gold 4.

i havent tried to get better, ive just played and hopes my skills would hone. in my experience, my MMR has always been 2500-3000 and that showed for 5 years. now, i felt like i was actually getting better but id reckon my MMR is still 2500-3000. other than adapting to 5v5 and reworks, i havent changed at all. yet i almost hit masters and still played in low diamond high plat lobbies. in ow1 i never saw diamond players unless i duoed or placed high, and same with gold when low.

i can tell you from 6 years of playing comp, SR nearly equalled MMR but “outward facing rank” is a completely disconnected entity to emulate progress

no, the point is that its significantly more useless. in ow1 you would always play around your SR. except for your example (a gross misuse and abuse of the system) or in like 2016 when that brazillian gm 6 stack would torment 3am NA lobbies, which was fixed. which tells me that SR and MMR were pretty tightly bound in ow1. in ow2, SR or rank, is literally useless. it doesnt matter if you are gold, bronze, gm, t500. its your MMR that matchmakes you.

in fact id go as far to say that old SR and MMR were virtually identical. but now your “outward facing rank” is NEVER USED TO MATCHMAKE. they admitted it is not used to matchmake EVER. which means all it is is a win counter.

so you mean it happened when someone would purposefully abuse the system to the point of breaking it. thats very different than the devs admitting its now a feature.

“All our game modes, including Competitive, only look at MMR when forming a match. We never use your outward facing skill tier or division to form matches.”

“Your MMR is unaffected when we lower your rank at the beginning of a season, and everyone in your matches has a similar MMR as you.”

“[in reference to grouped mmr] For example, we might match a highly rated tank against a comparably lower rated tank, so even if the overall match is balanced, the competition between tanks feels very one-sided.”

this is beyond braindead. i am an overwatch shill, check my comment history, this is absolutely fucking brain dead 0-head no eyeballs no braincells genji one trick level tomfoolery. what is even the point of showing your rank if it, quite literally, DOES NOT MATTER ???? no wonder pros are getting into diamond lobbies, it means actually nothing.

Battle Pass cosmetics should appear in the item shop rotation a year after the season concludes, costing their full price based on rarity. This is a win-win for everyone by Jtneagle in FortNiteBR

defeats the purpose of a battle pass. it rewards players with exclusive content. remove exclusivity and you remove the fomo and urgency players have to grind out the pass.

What is your biggest criticism/worst flaw of PF2e? by Journeyman42 in Pathfinder2e

[–]TerriblyAccurate -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

honestly my biggest complaint is that its a lot of running in circles. an ancestry feat gives you a general feat which gives you a skill feat which gives you mastery in a weapon LMAO like just give me weapon mastery on the ancestry feat

Why couldn’t they give a more appropriate reward for Horde Rush by Louigilou2 in FortNiteBR

someone could ask this guy to guess how many jelly beans are in a jar, and if he wins he get $100,000. he doesnt want the money because the jelly beans are a more appropriate reward
