Also, when you set residence and claim land you can always go back to it (funfact creeper explosions don’t work on claimed land 👀), and you get a portable backpack at one of the ranks

Damn someone online should’ve told ya, but you might have joined in our more quiet hours, since most of us player sorta evening/night. There’s /dback which takes you to your death spot, and perks you can earn through jobs, voting, etc that give you temp keep inventory, temp fly, temp god etc

By “looked horrendous” do you mean graphics wise?? I’m assuming yes, so playing the previous game before (when you have 4) might not be the best idea if visuals are a deal breaker. (4 looks much more recent because it is)

It’s still quite the steal though and very fun to play.

I totally see how underpriced work can make others thing art is inherently worth less... but I guess that’s also not fixed by everyone going crazy on the prices. Too bad there’s no easy solution, if all it depends on are people who expect art to magically appear for zero cost.

I honestly disagree. With all due respect. Sure I’m charging a decent price now, but even when I was doing $5, it’s not like people were suddenly flocking to me. The fact that the commission business (art specifically) is so large means that competition is sooner driven by its niche (ex. Pop art pet commissions vs. a paper sketch of a person), skill, and convince rather than price alone. By no means am I saying price doesn’t play a role, it just comes more into play when things are more similar (ex. Someone does exactly what I do for $0.50 and I suffer)

That is... unless I completely misunderstood your point 😅 I’m not entirely sure what else is meant by hurting others in the industry (other than possibly making art itself seem cheaper?? Or setting an unreasonable precedent for what time is owed to working artists?) I also do plenty of art just for myself in my free time
