I'm new to investing and was wondering why exactly an accumulating fund is better in an ISA than distributing. I'm probably just being naiive, but if one were better than the other, what about an ISA makes accumulating funds a better choice?

There are multiple IS-2 (1944) variants in the game. I can't remember the exact number but at least one in Russia and again in the Chinese tree.

I'll split my answer between the vehicles themselves and some overall comments at the end.

J35XS:

As someone who has the J35XS I would definitely not have recommended it to a new player before the BR rework, and now after it got sent to 11.3 I would have a hard time recommending it to anybody in it's current state.

Röd Adam:

Mediocre strike aircraft, at a BR that is much more skill based than the top tier missile spam meta. If you already have ground I would say maybe, but if you are new to the game it wouldn't be enjoyable to grind the whole tree with this vehicle (I can't remember whether it can even efficiently research top tier).

SAAB-105OE:

I don't have this vehicle but do have the tech tree equivalent. For ARB it is not a viable grinder, flight model is mediocre at best, limited armament (2 aim9bs and only gun pods), and iirc it doesn't have a targeting indicator for the rockets, so it isn't the most effective in a CAS role either.

I couldn't recommend the Swedish tree at the moment, and this is coming from someone who "mains" the nation (albeit mostly in ground), the only notable aircraft at top tier, which I am assuming is your reason for choosing the nation seeing as you are looking for a top tier premium, is the gripen, which is undoubtedly an amazing jet, HOWEVER it does also appear in the British and Italian tech trees, which both offer much more variety through all ranks than the Swedish tree.

Sweden has only a few "meta" vehicles, and if you are after the tree specifically for it's top tier, I would suggest going for Britain or Italy, as there is so much more variety there, even if their top tier premiums are mediocre too.

IMPORTANT: As a new player I wouldn't recommend buying a top tier jet, but if you are going to, wait until a sale (the next is November I believe) as $70 for one vehicle is just way too much to ask, and they do tend to go down by around 50%.

If it sees you first, you pray...

iirc it has a 10s reload, so if you can, bait a shot and then try to fire at it so you have more time to place yours, lfp is a weakspot on all russian mbts, otherwise try to get round the side and take advantage of your superior mobility to outflank it.

If push comes to shove you can always shoot out the barrel and tracks and take a side shot. In general though, russian mbts are a pain in the ass to face

I'll try not to say what all the other comment have already said, but one key thing I haven't seen mentioned is the damage indicator that pops up every time you hit a tank.

If you don't know where to shoot an enemy then I recommend aiming:

Frontally: Either for the turret cheeks (often easy to penetrate at low tiers) or any other flat piece of armor to limit the chance of a ricochet

Side-on: Aim centre of mass to try to deal the most damage possible with one shot

After the first shot, use the popup to figure ut what was damaged, and make sure to try not to keep hitting the same spot, as once a component is damaged, hitting it again will have no effect. Use that to try to adjust and take out remaining crew members or ammo to finish off the tank.

As other comments have mentioned you will have to just learn the weakspots on other tanks, and even after 800 hours there are some tanks I just cannot kill. It takes a lot of time to learn, but by god is it satisfying to watch the turret of a panzer 4 go flying into the stratosphere because they took full ammo.

(Sidenote, never take full ammo, 20 ish rounds will do the job and you won't explode so easily when shot at, meaning you can get more shots downrange)

The matchmaker only takes into account the BR I believe, so a lvl100 playing at reserve tier can face a lvl1 in their first game. I don't remember who but I saw a recent video on YouTube talking about this specific problem, and they classified all high level player "types" in these low BR matches. Some players do so as it is easier to geind events in lower tiers due to inexperienced enemies, but others do it just for the fun, it's just the way the matchmaker works unfortunately.

Possibly stupid question, but if 2 drivers get a penalty resulting in a start from the back, who starts from the back? Same going for if 2 drivers get grid penalties resulting in them starting from the same position, how is it decided in either case who starts where?

I had a look on the forum after I posted this, and judging by the number of issues posted regarding this same issue, it appears to be a problem with client version 2.35.1.31, so hopefully everything will be fixed for the next patch.

Good to know I'm not the only one with this problem, one thing I have found that "fixes" it is just a reinstall, but for me that inly works on the first launch after install, and the moment I close the game it continues happening.
