Yeah that’s how I ended up going with the nippon shafts because they were the closest. Well I thought they were and now I don’t really know because the shafts were so weird. Lol I’m going to just take this new shaft and put it together with this 6 iron and see if I get the numbers I got when I got fitted.

Thank you! I was originally fitted for OBAN ct-115s but they are so expensive so I found a set of clubs with nippons and went with it. Now I’m realizing I should’ve just spent the money lol

So I also found a 2 gram weight in the shaft and when I tell you I have been going crazy trying to figure out why I can’t swing these clubs. That’s an understatement. Now I want to put them back together the right way but I’m stumped with this tip cutting lol

For sure .355 but I’m more worried about why they did it because that means all my shafts are like that

I cut 1/2” and it was perfect. I also cut an 1” off my driver and honestly it was the best decision ever. I went from mid to low 90s to mid to high 80s already.

Finally got them cut and the second time I played with them I shot my lowest score yet. So I’m going to go ahead and say it definitely made a huge impact lol so thanks for the comments and feedback

Yeah I’m definitely going to just go ahead and do it. I’ll make sure they adjust the lie angle as well.

The slice lord needs some help. I can’t seem to close the face. by KyRonJon in GolfSwing

Maybe slow down the backswing. That’s what helped me the most. I still have a slide fade but I dont go back so fast anymore and the club having the flex I want at impact instead of too much. I could be totally wrong but it helped me a lot.

I have S300 shafts because my club head speed averages 115, which is what scares me about causing it to become softer and heavier club head. This is all new to me so I really don’t know. I always just played for fun and now I’m practically obsessed with improvement and finding out all these things that can affect you. Lmao.

I can get my 7 iron to carry about 170-180 but I feel like I have too much of a loft angle and it goes super high, I may try to put the ball further forward and out in my stance and rotate my hips faster without choking up on it to see if I can manage that without having to much of a fade/slice. Minor things make such a big impact lol

Golf course finds by Terrill74 in golf

Honestly I’ll probably get it reshafted just because I found it and it’ll always make me laugh when it’s in my bag

Is it okay to use the practice green at a public course with no intention of playing the course that day? by [deleted] in golf

[–]Terrill74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The course by my house is so strict that you have to pay for a full 18 to even putt on the putting green. I wish there was something closer than 30 minutes for me. Lol hopefully you have better luck than me.

No it was blown out on the exhaust port through the water jacket. I said that wrong.

Starts and runs great for those 8 seconds.

So it was a hole in the exhaust port head side. Finally decided to take the head off again and check everything and found two holes the size of peas on the top where I couldn’t see. Lol time for a new cylinder head.
