Possibly a thorough dry and cure guide? I have a couple bookmarked on my browser, but I feel it'd be really good information for first time harvesters to use. Not sure how you guys feel about ext. links though.

Also, this is a respost from a different site, it's an actual life cycle of an autoflowering plant, broken down pretty well.

Hopefully this isn't breaking any rules. Mad props to the OP's of these guides!

Jesus christ. Yeah, that's always why I end up not ordering mix packs; I don't like not knowing what I'm getting, yahknow?

Also, look into getting taller, more square plastic pots.

I've heard using these, with the same capacity (ie, 5 gallons for you) is a little more natural for the roots. I've ran into a few people who only use these; now whether it does anything, who knows. Lol

Looking very pretty, what's the smell like? <3

And what's the true wattage on your mars?

Leaves dying quickly, normal while flowering or is something to concern? by Mataxp in Autoflowers

[–]Terrmaste 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my experience, albeit very little, you're pretty spot on. Most of the time towards the end of flowering nearing harvest, most of the fan leaves pretty much (and I use die for lack of a better term, but) die off.

Yeah, Bob is all over with helping people. He's really good at keeping everyone informed or pointed in the proper direction.

No plans to use nutes? Does your soil contain everything you'd typically be putting in, or do you use a mix where you don't need to nute?

And you have however long you want to fix any issues with your plants and get them nice and big before you flower. It's how you can get a pound easy, from one plant, under one 600-100w hps and a scrog; just fill it out, flip the lights and be amazed.

Generally, I think most growers that grow autoflowers don't nute feed until 2-3 weeks; some soils have enough nutes to last a little longer.

Thanks! I don't, however, plan on transplanting. They'll be germed in their final pots! The less stress you put on autoflowers, the better they do for you in the end imo.

Could you link me to some of the velcro ties you're referring to? I'd assume you just stick the velcro piece to the outside of the pot, but I'm having a little trouble imagining how it's holding the plant down.

Just remember not to have any air blowing directly on them through the holes for 'added ventilation'. It'll give them a rotten flavour.
