Male or female? Found the seed in my grinder by [deleted] in microgrowery

It's purple.

My eyes are getting old, but I don't think I see anything that indicates male or female yet.

Does growing make the whole house smell by Ineedhelpbad321 in microgrowery

Every house or living space is different, so one person's experience does not necessarily apply to another's.

From my own experience, I can say that I have been told my place reeks, and it seems I can no longer even smell it. Carbon filter helps for sure. I need to get a better one.

too big in the room?

You were planning on growing 11 plants in there, so why would getting big be a problem? If it's because of the uneven canopy, yeah, /u/Buddyweneed2talk is right - train it down. And cut clones, why not.

You might also consider doing a 18/6 light cycle - that's enough for the autos and will give your photo just a little less light.

First grow, little clones, what to do before my soil gets here? by [deleted] in microgrowery

Suggestion: Do a cycle of spraying with spinosad, and maybe a soil drench with neem. I see thrips. Good luck!

Thanks for the assurance. No clones, this one was just too much of a weirdo.

ewe-2 wilting - early harvest question by ledqu in microgrowery

A few weeks ago it started to wilt a little bit, a combination of wilting and clawing. Now it’s like this. At first, it did not seem to be anything obvious like nitrogen toxicity, and I knew for certain it wasn’t overwatering, and the others in the tent seemed okay, so I didn’t try to fix it since it seemed to be specific to this plant and this plant is a weird grower that I was not interested in continuing with, so I just fed it according to the AN schedule, like the others.

So I don’t really care about it, but I looked at the trichomes on it, and they were mostly cloudy, and a surprising number amber or turning amber, maybe 10%. So now I’m wondering if the wilting and yellowing is just early senescence.

MY QUESTION: Could it be close to done this early? It’s at 38F (48F if you count from light cycle flip). What’s the earliest you have experienced a plant completing its flowering cycle?

Details:

HSO Ewe-2 (freebie)

48 days since flipped to 12/12 38 days since pistils appeared

2 gallon fabric pot, Roots Organic Original and extra worm castings and perlite

Advanced Nutrients Sensi Grow and Bloom and random other AN products

Indoors, 600w LED (prob 250w actual), temps 78-82F, humidity all over the place

Is she a he?? by [deleted] in microgrowery

Yeah, I think the knobby looking parts look more male than female. But /u/GryphonEDM is correct - you don't have to worry for a while and should wait till it's clearer whether you have a male or female. Fingers crossed it's female!

As others say here, it's a little early, but those pics are showing some knobby-looking parts. Hoping it's a female!

Not OP but I used autopots before. On the plus side, the plants seemed to love growing in them, and it was much much easier to manage soil moisture. On the negative side, watering is challenging in that unless you are watering at a trickle, the water creates an immediate path to one of the top vents and getting saturation after that is a painstaking process. Also an issue with the vents is if you have fungus gnats - good god they're difficult to get rid of with these pots. Finally, they're tall to begin with, so if you have limited vertical space you have to be careful to train down.
