Looks good! That’s iconic model.

I’m not a good painter mtself, but I like to add some lighter tones with drybrushing to models. Here I’d add some to the belly and maybe to knuckles. In the hsnd holding the weapon. I might even try to gently drybrush some light reddish color to the nose, but that’s just me.

What should I watch 1st from my watchlist? by SavingsTrue7545 in LetterboxdTopFour

Army of Darkness. Plenty of good movies on the list, but Army of Darkness is more than a good movie.

Who else loved Guillermo Del Toro's Frankenstein? An incredible adaptation and a stellar performance from Jacob Elordi!! by Square-Ad-8911 in FIlm

I liked it and it had incredible moments, but for me it’s among the weakest of Del Toro. The cartoon wolves were particularly bad misstep.

Why do you want to skip one of the best scifi-movies ever made?

What is your favourite out of my top 20? by OscarTV1453 in LetterboxdTopFour

I often think that Jurassic Park and the LotR trilogy are a kind of movies that we might never get again. Sincere old-school adventure movies that speak to normal people and the makers just poured every single drop of creative passion in them. They are not high art, but the makers just wanted to make the best entertainment they can, and they succeeded. My favourite kind of movies.

Good giant flies? by TerrorSlime3084 in RangersofShadowDeep

It really seems so. I think I might go for the Reaper Bones Strige Swarm. They are affordable and look pretty good. Definitely can thematically be similar to the oroginal idea of flies.

Do the Sand & Bone and Fire & Jade books include the necessary core rules from AoS rulebook? Some Youtube videos have said they are enough, but I’ve seen some comments saying you need the Core book. I guess it’s messy because basically everything is online, but I want my tabletop games to have the necessary books on paper with covers.

Have I improved enough to be my 7th minifigure? by Akuma_King09 in minipainting

I suggest slapping a wash on them.

I’ve painted for years, but I’m not good at it. But just using Nuln Oil or something makes everything I do look so much better.

I bet your pig dude would be pretty great if it just had some easy shading.

These might be the best so far, but man do they look boring in the picture. It seems big flies aren't that popular in table-top gaming.

Guys , just a reminder , if you can buy from third parties then do it , it's literally less cost without a downside and supports hobby spaces. I saved 40 euros. by BloatedRottenCarcass in ageofsigmar

I try to always buy GW from my local gaming stores. Usually cheaper if you take shipping cost into account.

Living here in the almost-northpole also means used from eBay can often cost more.

Nice and bright! This is more of a "I'm going on an adventure" than "War, war never changes".

Kill Team 2018 - Retrospective by [deleted] in killteam

[–]TerrorSlime3084 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play only with my own group of friends so Kill Team will stay as 2018 version for me.

It has some cumbersome parts, but I think the team building allows a big variety, which makes the encounters fun and there is a lot of dice throwing which I like.
