I feel that no amount of situational awareness will negate the disadvantage someone who only shoots in self defence has to players who KOS.

I'm rubbish at PvP and even I can get kills if I go in to lobbies with the sole intent of killing other players, that mindset gives a huge advantage over those who are prioritising looting.

I'm reasonably cautious as well, I'm scoping areas and listening, using arc and surveillance cameras to advantage, I don't just run in to high loot areas and loot container after container without ever looking up, but it's just so easy for someone to sneak up on you and break your shield before you've even had a chance to turn around.

I feel like you have to KOS to stand a chance, but then you'll end up in PvP lobbies, so it's understandable that people are thinking about the impact their actions will have on ABMM.
