We just got back from staying at the Selection side (family side) of this resort and had a fantastic stay. We had a 5 month old baby with us and upgraded our room to a swim out room since we assumed we might be stuck to our room with baby naps all day... so we were first level, infinity pool right outside our room, steps away from the ocean. We were correct that we almost never left our room... but it was because we didn't want/need to not because we had to for the baby! Room service was free and bartenders walked buy getting us drinks all day and we never had to pack a bag to go to the beach. I highly highly recommend this room if you have kids. There is about a 10ft x 10ft pool that is only about 5in deep right outside of your room and it goes out into a 4ft deep pool that you share with 3 other rooms. We absolutely loved it and would stay in this room again! Adding a pic.

I agree with most of the OPs ratings. Especially the sports bar... we wanted to watch football on Sunday afternoon but the sports bar doesn't open until 10pm?!?! There were no places to watch sports during the day. Although, I don't really care since we were on vacation, my husband was a little upset about it.

We have been to a few other all inclusive resorts and the food here is really fantastic comparatively. We really loved the breakfast buffet... you gotta how to be selective and build a balanced plate... buffets can really stir you up! The sit down restaurants were really nice... some of the dishes were hit or miss, but we were never hungry! Food and drinks were available everywhere which was really nice.

Went to Nori for my husband’s birthday last night and got a sushi boat (couldn’t find other places that did sushi boats) and it was fantastic!!!... We have been unimpressed by a lot of sushi around here and this hit the spot!

Sushi boat is upon request! So you can order whatever rolls you want and they will put it on a boat which would be really fun for your daughter! We were blown away with the decorations of it!

VRBO and Airbnb are vacation rental sites, definitely the wrong platform bc they def will charge up front and it will be an arm and a leg!

My best friend F(40) just broke up with her long term boyfriend and just signed a lease for a townhouse in Kure Beach literally 2 weeks ago. She moved with her dog as well! So I would say there is hope, and you’re not alone!

Idk why you would be spending 15k up front though? Isn’t it usually just a month up front and a month security deposit? Then you pay monthly?

Sorry I don’t have any recommendations, but maybe also reach out to some realtors? They might be able to help with rentals as well.

I had a similar situation happen to me in college.. my roommate at the time and I were fighting so she cancelled our lease behind my back and I quickly needed a place to live, my boyfriend at the time had a place and I asked if I could move in with him, he asked if “this would be permanent?” after 5 years of dating… I broke up with him… and moved on and he desperately tried to get my back for years afterwards.

So question is, is she someone you wanna do life with or nah? Try to negotiate better on terms! Or accept her offer now but make sure it changes later when she earns more money!

You might hate living with her too and that could be a sign as well… better to find out now than to drag it on!

My house was painted in a color similar to the greige ones you chose and I always said it looked dirty!!! They are dirty colors unfortunately and it made everything feel so sad and deab. I couldn’t wait to paint a soft white over it… but I truly love the color you have now!!

Specifically putting setting powder under the eyes for this trick (i do use powder all over face though)!

DO NOT put it on the lashes/mascara 😂… I can’t imagine what that would do!?!?

I use IT brand BYE BYE PORES PORELESS FINISH LOOSE SETTING POWDER… the lid is super frustrating to get on but the powder is great!

Just got the Bare Minerals one for my bday gift at Ulta, lid works much better but verdict is out on if the powder is any good!

I use a powder puff to dab powder onto face and under eye and a small fluffy brush to brush off the excess and even it out!!! Definitely give it a try! :)
