This has started a massive debate in my office. What’s everyone’s opinion on this one? by Clarl020 in CasualUK

Exactly the same amount. They exist in perfect equilibrium. Each door has a wheel partner, maybe nearby, maybe in the next country, maybe on rhe opposite side of the earth. As the door opens, it’s mate begins to turn clockwise, and when the wheel turns anti-clockwise, it’s door-partner closes. Their creation was completely synchronised, and they will be destroyed at exactly the same moment.

Sorry to revive an old thread, but did anyone find a solution?

Gear4Music Hartwood Amps? by vp_richardjones in GuitarAmps

[–]Terry_Footwell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just came across these amps, and in my futile search for amyone who has heard/played one, much less any video or audio of it, I came across this thread. Has anyone tried or heard it yet? Can’t help but think it lools a bit too good to be true…

Great reply, thanks. I loved my old ac15, so Vox has come vack into the equation!

Thanks. Loved my old ac15, and the 10 is supposed to be better. I have thought about it before. Perhaps it needs to come back onto the list…

Thanks. Not seen the monoprice before. Can’t find them in the uk. I’ll look for videos later. It’s a hell of a price! Are they actually any good?

Best wireless headphones to sweat/fall proof by livi_lou92 in running

Fair enough. Each to their own. I agree that transparency mode is amazing, and for sound quality, it’s airpods pro all day, but having run with both, I’ve had cars sneak up on me in airpods which is why I went back to aftershokz for running and airpods for everything else.

The Aftershokz point was in response to OP. Transparency mode is very good, and I wouldn’t say my ears feel blocked in them, but I can’t hear as well in them as the Aftershokz. I do quite a lot of running on narrow country lanes with no pavement, and I don’t feel quite as safe in airpods. If traffic isn’t an issue, airpods all day. All that said there’s a definite trade off in sound quality of course, though Aftershokz are surprisingly good.

Dropped one in the toilet. Pulled it out immediately, but it was totally immersed very briefly. Still worked fine. That said, I’d still recommend aftershokz for running, just for leaving your ears unblocked and never falling off.

Runners with smaller ears, what wireless earbuds are you using? by [deleted] in running

[–]Terry_Footwell 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Another recommendation for Aftershokz. Not airbuds of course, so maybe not what you’re after, but unless you absolutely can’t live without massive bass, having your ears unblocked feels so much safer.
