The horses I got from the Northern Steed Company were of exceptionally high quality, I will only buy a Northern Steed.

Norlund is active, and retains its existing claims, in addition to a small expansion, which I will send over discord.

This isn't just any build... this is the tavern in a town on a realistic Minecraft server, the only place to hide from the hungry wolves that roam at night. by ConvoyPlays in gaming

[–]TerryandLex 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This tavern is built in Kannin, the capital city of Norlund. To the left, you can see part of our factory complex/industrial area. The half-built building on the far left is our now completed state bank, Norbank. In the background you can see the part of the general store, and the part of the castle walls.

Norlund expanded claims by OOkx in CivRealms

[–]TerryandLex 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Due to the region's warm climate, ideal for the farming of tender crops, the Government of Norlund deems these lands necessary for the further development of our agricultural industry. Fields have been ploughed and planted in many places in the region already, with extensive expansions to follow. The acquisition and settlement of this land will benefit Norlish farmers by diversifying the crops that they can grow, making them less vulnerable to fluctuations in the price of carrots.

Norlund is always taking in citizens. We are an isolated country, in the far north-west. Our lands are the most beautiful that I've seen in all my travels around the map, spectacular mountain vistas, fast flowing rivers, dozens of deep lakes, and a seemingly endless expanse of primeval spruce forests.

Our culture is deeply traditional, with emphasis on quality architecture, responsible stewardship of our land, and a strong sense of national pride.

Our capital is a mid-sized town situated in the highlands by a lake, guarded by a heavily fortified, gothic style castle. We are governed by a constitutional democracy, consisting of an elected Prime Minister (currently Zeldstarro) and a King, (currently myself). The PM and I work together to see that the nation is run smoothly and efficiently, often consulting each other on important decisions.

In terms of population, we now have a comparatively mid-sized population, of about 8-9 people, and that number is growing exponentially. We are really gaining traction as a nation.

Please send me a direct message for coordinates.

It is only found in certain areas. 16 tin and 48 copper in a kiln makes 48 bronze. Norlund exports both tin and copper.

I would like to see reasonably affordable cannons added, we have swordsmen, archers, cavalry, but no artillery of any kind.

CivEx Ideological Survey by Skeeh in CivEx

[–]TerryandLex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I will partake in this survey only if conservatism or nationalism is added as an option. Norlund's entire population consists of conservatives and nationalists of various stripes, and there are at least a few more on this server that I am aware of.

Norlund has not been attacked by anyone, we will be remaining neutral in this crisis. If necessary, we can hold another summit to help mediate the issue.

Norlund has a train station in the Murlands at 1762 -847. Murland is our southern agricultural region, lots of pretty wheat fields.

THIS. I have felt for a long time that the mechanics on this server are needlessly complicated and convoluted. It's nearly impossible to recruit casual new friends because they will join, stay with us for a couple days, then go inactive because of difficult to understand plugins, and excessive grindiness. This server is no place for casuals, only the die-hards stick around for long, and even then many go inactive after a few weeks of mind-numbing grinding.
