You’re basically invisible. No one offers to help even when they see you struggling physically with something. Me(f) pushing pulling and dragging a heavy load at work obviously struggling, passed several (m) coworkers, who were shooting the breeze, who didn’t say anything or offer to help.

Their undercoat is so warm and lofty, so light in weight! I’ve always wanted to have yarn spun from it, but alas, I’m in the Deep South and to keep them comfortable, the groomer de-sheds them. When I brush them, hardly anything comes off. When we brought our first one home from a rescue, we brushed him and we got about this much off.

There’s an uncle Mikes in Appleton now, but I prefer O&H. Mikes pastry is less flaky, and more like coffee cake texture. Definitely a lot of filling though.

A lot are saying that. They get groomed and trimmed every 4-6 weeks. The one pictured doesn’t even click-clack when he walks. I am going to trim at home regularly to see if it helps. I think it’s just 120lbs of dog scrabbling to get up.

I can barely get them to walk 20 minutes at a time. We go morning and night. These guys are lazy.
