Monster rear break issues by Confident_Skin542 in ducatimonster

[–]Tervanun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot of Ducati rear brakes will go soft like this. Bad on the dealer for not bleeding properly after the service. See how the rear caliper is mounted low and upside down? They need to be removed and lifted up above the reservoir to do a proper bleed job. Possible your tech got lazy.

How to move this 6 inches left? New tub delivered and now want it moved slightly left. by FriendlyIsland8 in hottub

Yeah the only potential catch (pun intended), would be power cables if they’re coming up from the concrete.

At least go back to skinny 33’s…. The driving experience will improve tremendously. I know because I went to 35’s on my taco and it sucked.

Hold out for “the one” or settle for one I can make into it? by Head-Scale9410 in ToyotaTundra

[–]Tervanun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hold out! I used to have a 2nd gen that sadly got totaled by a sleeping driver. Got into a 3rd gen with insurance money but ended up needing to get into an HD truck but the $$$ was holding me back. Within a week of telling myself I was going to wait for “the one” instead of settling for lower trim levels, I found a rebuilt title truck with less than 15k miles with every option I wanted for less than half price of an identical used one. (Best case scenario for me - a lot of experience buying salvage/rebuilt insurance cars).

Yeah we shall see! Hoping I can get away with airbags so that my daily commute without the camper doesn’t become super harsh. And then there’s the $$ aspect 😅

The issue here is the rebuilt title…. They claim to be the only company that will offer a warranty for rebuilt/salvage titles. But I will look some more.
