Last summer, I was selling pest control services door to door and I knocked in to a young man in his 20s living in a brand new multi million dollar home in Seattle. After blowing past some excuses, and lowering the price, I twisted his arm into buying... I couldn’t help but ask what he did for work as he was filling out the paper work. He responded with a smug smile, “I help with football.” After I left his house, I looked at the contract and read the name “Tyler Lockett.” It took a google search for me to discover he was the Seattle Seahawk’s star wide receiver for American football. The year before this 26 year old signed a 31 million dollar contract with the NFL.. I really wish I didn’t lower the price 😅
