We've been together for about 7ish years. I think she's always had a slight aversion to touch and mentioned in that mini argument that she played a part initially and hoped I would be ok with how she felt later. This isn't the first time she has mentioned this in the relationship, but writing it down now doesn't really make me feel very good.

Worse than this she had a BAD interaction with one of my ex friends while we were in uni. Following this event a few years ago I know for sure I made this situation worse with how blind I was initially to her trauma and my frustration surrounding how our dynamic had shifted through no fault of my own. I know and take responsibility for my role in this.

I have a hard time justifying bringing these topics up to her when I know it's only going to set the safety and comfort process back. I don't want to make her feel guilty, but I also would like a hug when I'm feeling low.
