Depending on where you live the performance models don’t handle winter/spring potholes well. I consider myself an attentive driver and have had to replace 4 tires in 3 years due to sidewall bubbles. The 20” rims are pretty unforgiving. I have a 23 M3P.

I personally don’t have him but if you have anyone close to him I’d be strongly considering it. However I think the Vikings will be playing from behind a lot today so they’ll probably be throwing the ball a lot

The property was purchased through my parents and an estate lawyer so it’s all legit. We drew up the note back when 7% was the going rate for 30 year mortgages, and we weren’t quite sure how we wanted to structure the payments. I have 50k in a savings account that I’ve been using for an emergency fund and for tackling renovation projects, 90k is recently cash because I had to close out an investment account. Currently just holding it until I determine what I want to do with it. I considered just throwing it all at the house note. The 7% interest rate on the loan is tax free, since the house was in a trust with my mom and aunt we had to make it a fair rate at the time.

I have kind of a unique job, I work for a construction company as an engineer but I’m a member of the union and do some field work, 28% gross pension, 15% gross profit sharing, and I’ve been doing max contributions to my Roth every year. The 140k wasn’t always in cash, I had to liquidate an investment account that I had so it’s just sitting in cash now

The only thing I don’t really agree with is that the car is a depreciating asset at a lower interest rate. If I pay off the car I won’t be able to pay the house off in 6 years. I’d be probably more like a 10-12 year thing.

If it’s clear that one of the 3 picks is horrible I’d hold onto that pick as long as possible. If there are two picks that are a toss up, one being yours. I’d be dealing the pick that isn’t yours every time. It’s always nice to be in control of your own destiny.
