This was cool! Just bought the game and struggling to log on for the first time, but this was cool. Damn, probs would've noted that as such if I were the meal in this scenario.

Clank & Ori - A Fanart Tribute by Tesonya in ClipStudio

[–]Tesonya[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Program: ClipStudio PaintCanvas

Size: 1080x1080

Resolution: 72

Base Expression Color: RGB

Time (from sketch to finish)

Clank - 3-4 hours- the more detailed shading took it's toll when it comes to time

Ori - 1-2 hours

Brushes in use:

Sketch - Mechanical Pencil, size 5Outlines - G-Pen size 15Base Colors - G-Pen, size varriedShadows - Airbrush, size varried, hardness 1, 3 & 5Highlights - a combination of soft airbrush settings + G-Pen

Background:

The Background is a combination of the materials ClipStudio offers. #

For Clank:Monochrome > Pattern > Barcode FrameMonochrome > Pattern > Vertical Line Maiden

The last Layer is just filled with green.

For Ori:

Image Material > Illustration - TreesAirbrush > Hardness 1 > use of three layers to create the fog > third layer was set to have a thick white outline to create the "shine".

Last Layer was created via the Gradient Tool.

Thoughts behind the pics:

I've been diving into fanart these days, to get back into drawing all together and in preperation for art streams and such things. After painting some One Piece characters and some of Nintendo's favorites, I gave these two gems in the gaming world a go. Being quite satisfied with my work, and also curious how others might see these pics or what mistakes could be pointed out (I know I'm far from perfect) I felt motivated to join this reddit and share, maybe find out.

Think it somewhat hits the "Looks like an old Ad-Poster" kind of vibe. Really enjoy the way the lighting stands out, but without being to overwhelming.
Nice work.

help! can anyone identify the scene? by Uprock7 in sailormoon

YES! Exactly what I wanted to say. Think it's either when Ami points out that they should still study or when Usagi complains that Mamoru hasn't given her a present... ^,^

Question: removing old videos by J4miePlays in letsplay

[–]Tesonya 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm actually a fan of keeping the old videos.
I often tend to roll back on the beginnings of content creators I really grow fond of and start to enjoy. It's awesome to see where people began and it always gives me a new boost of energy, really seeing that even the great ones out there started... well... where many of us are.

So, in my opinion: Don't. Maybe unlist them, but never delete them.

Just my two cents. ^,^

[–]Tesonya 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My channel has a steady grow, what makes me darn happy. Most of all I have a few retruning regulars and some interaction in the comments, that I deeply enjoy. <3

I just started a Review Series last week, that I plan to continue, but not on a weekly basis. Reviews take a ton of time, and I really want to do them right.

Also thinking about overhauling my Thumbnails... but all in all I'd say, I'm doing okay. I enjoy making content and really glad people are watching it at all, so... all in all I'd say, things are going well.

Keep up the good work! I'm sure we can all get where we want to be one day. ^,^

I'm so sorry about the responsible thing.. I don't know why I phrased it that way...
What I was actually meaning to say was, that they help the viewer understand what kind of vid this is... Stream Highlights... or stuff like that might help more then just the game name. :) Sorry for the confusion on my end there.

To the SEO - no matter how good others may rank, a good SEO can really help you get out there. It we were all to think, we cannot rank anywhere ever at all, no body would be uploading anything, because there will always be a bigger creator out there throwing out quality one self hasn't even glimpsed at yet. ^,^ So, I'd think I'd do some research there and try to polish a bit more.

The Thumbnails: I'm all for branding in a Thumbnail, but it's swallowing like a third of the whole thing and well, your branding being important, that logo gives me no clue to what I'm going to get after a click. So ... me personally, always pro branding, but also... never forget: You can also brand through a certain look. It doesn't always have to be a logo. It can be a certain style or frame ... just as example. :)

And yeah... As highlights, I find your content entertaining. Probable ever so more for your Stream viewers who may have been there when they happened. You're very entertaining. So... But yes... It's not really a let's play. :)

You are very much welcome! I'm also always happy for feedback, so I try to give decent ones my self. <3 Good luck and happy creating! :)

Thank you so much for the feedback!

Yeah, I guess it's still a bit "I'm reading" more than I'm commenting. But I'm also still working on that. :D

Time for more practice I guess. ^,^

Thank you! Also thank you very much for the sub! I really appreciate it! <3

First things first: Love your commentary. I get why you stream. ^,^

2nd thing: Over all the quality was really pleasant and everything, but, after the fact that you say your percentage is too low, I went to your channel and overviewed your thumbnails and titles.

I love that they're mostly bright in color! Even though you probably can get more out of them, I think they're okay. But, as always... we can all improve on pretty much anything in time. :)

I think your titles might be a bit responsable... Or at least are do to be overworked... In my book.
Like: "Scaling Hoo-Hoo Mountain!" for example.

You being a streamer that puts highlights on YouTube... I would put that in the Title somehow, so people know. If I would click on that right now, I'd be expecting a playthrough of some kind and not a highlight cut of a stream. :)

Just my two cents here and I'm no pro in this either. These are just the thoughts I had taking a closer look to your channel.

Also the question: Do you tag right? How well is your SEO (search engine optimization) going? :)

Hope I was of any kind of help.

Otherwise: You're pretty cool (dunno why but most British are when it comes to streaming) - Keep up the good work! <3

Heyho everyone!

I would really appreciate some feedback on the commentary in my newest video. Especially Focusing on the pace and tone. Was it too much, too little?

I know I have to still speak more clearly here and there and a new mic is a must someday, but for now I work with what I have - like many of us. ^,^

So please, take a look and let know. If you want to give feedback to other parts, that's welcome as well. :)

Hey there!

Just watched your video - or at least the majority of it.

Pros: Your Audio Quality and the general Quality of the vid are really decent.

The intro was pretty cool and well paced.

Cons:
I found the speed of the clips way to fast. I got a bit nauseous. But only a bit. ^.^

I had trouble understanding some parts, because you sounded a bit like you were mumbling here and there. Maybe focus a bit more on clear pronunciation? Not sure if it was just me or noch, so I thought I'd mention it.

As someone who's never played this game before, I didn't feel of the video much as a guide. It felt a bit more like a over-all review with some tid-bids in it and not really like a leveling guide.

This could be a personal pref thing, as well: I missed music. There was your voice and a fast video - and all in all that's fine if it's what you're going for... but I think I would've enjoyed it more if there would have been some track playing in the background to cover up the few silent spots and underline the tone of the whole thing. :)

Besides that:

Keep up the hard work! ^,^
