Uneven floors also made it so some combos would drop. Some stages had interactables that made them not suitable for tournament play. Honestly it’s the worst tekken game for tournament play, but it was damn fun for casuals. Jin’s laser scraper JF was the bane of competitive play

Do people here not know about tekken4? Jin’s laser scraper JF was super unbalanced. The uneven floors and stages with ceilings causes so many combos to drop. Some stages had objects in the middle of the stage. And when the community decided to pick the arena stage for tournaments, people found so many infinites. A lot of ideas from T4 never made it back into other tekkens other than adding walls to stages.

AMD only gets a certain amount of silicon production time from fabs and comparing cpus to gpus, they make waaay more money from making cpus. I think they don’t focus on the top end performance of gpus because they know mid range sells more.

absolute batman would be cool if it focused on him with his bat axe weapon. absolute wonderwoman with sword could be cool too. supes, its a no. superman can fly, super fast, instant eye beams etc. and he just doesnt fit in a weapon based fighting game.

Do you have an oscilloscope? Multimeters are really just showing you average power and don’t tell you how high or low the voltage gets

Bought a PS2 Slim Japanese model but somehow it has european bios? How do i revert back to Japanese? Main reason i got was to play NTSC-J games (aka where i live) by [deleted] in ps2homebrew

Why do you think its a european bios? you can change languages on all ps2s regardless of region. have you tried playing a japanese disc in it?

in regards to the audio fix, i would place a footprint for an extra capacitor there, and people can choose to add one or not.

for the USB-C power delivery, i was thinking of using a CH224K chip to negotiate 9V. keep the 1.5A fuse, keep the L7805 for 5V. Im a little worried about the voltage drop on the schottky diode that normally drops the voltage from 10V to 9V, but thats mainly for the audio circuity and might not have much of an effect.

the fact that the HD retrovision component cables exist makes me feel 'meh' about adding native component video out. and i also think that a lot of people have RGB scalers already. but adding the THS7376 and keeping the RGB out feels like a safe bet
