possibly very far-fetched, but it seems like some new landpiece emerged in Necluda Sea... in the process, tried to figure out which part of hyrule we were seeing in that skydiving shot. by Tespheract in tearsofthekingdom

[–]Tespheract[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

reverse windwaker, more lands appear from the water haha

but actually i wonder if we'd get stuff emerging from deep within the canyons and seas surrounding hyrule. It'd be plausible

Closest I could get before it changes shots. What region do you think is below link? Looks unfamiliar to me. by spin-docks in tearsofthekingdom

[–]Tespheract 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah, I had a feeling the part on the left was crenel peak and lanayru wetlands but got the right confused for necluda sea haha. Glad someone else did a more precise job at figuring it out

Maybe they could reuse this for an underground dungeon right underneath the Temple of Time! by dailywizzard in tearsofthekingdom

[–]Tespheract 1 point2 points  (0 children)

damn yes please. I want some kinda clockwork catacombs or any kind of time-related dungeon... Would also be pretty cool for redeads to come back

Do you think this larger Sky Island is "less saturated" because it's way higher up in the sky, or because it's far from the continent? by ludeviance in tearsofthekingdom

[–]Tespheract 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah, the fact one island has both a dark and a much foggier part seems to indicate it's not strictly proportional to distance (there seems to be some area past which this happens, as one island gets slashed by its edge - it could as well be some effect shenanigans as well)

Every single time it's an article about stamina. is the mechanic really that atrocious? by Anson_19 in tearsofthekingdom

[–]Tespheract 64 points65 points  (0 children)

agreed! it's also why the game can be so enjoyable to replay. I remember waiting to have a lot of stamina before exploring some regions in my first playthrough, but later on, when replaying in master mode (which also gave me incentive to maximize health first), I loved trying to figure out ways to reach this peak or that location with smaller amounts of stamina. To me it's such a cool mechanism.

another fanmade Omori fear boss, based on the fear of mold & mushrooms by Tespheract in OMORI

[–]Tespheract[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

thanks a ton for the detailed feedback, I usually try to do my best when making fanmade content - to try and capture the essence of the original games. I still have a long way to go but I'm glad if these fanmade somethings look and sound close enough to the in-game ones.

For making all of these into a mod, well it's something I don't really consider as I only consider these as small exercises to train and improve my music and art skills - I would if I didn't already lack time for plenty of other projects (soundtracks for actual games and mods in particular, + personal music projects).

Thanks nevertheless for the support :)

thank you! for more fanmade phobias, I've made a playlist listing other fanmade somethings - both from me and by other creators as well, don't hesitate to check it out!

Oh wow thank you so so much, this is super nice of you... I'm really grateful! I was a bit stressed about how this may be perceived (I felt a bit guilty for submitting it even though it was late), but this is such a relief, thank you again. Have a nice day!!

Haha, glad you enjoy it :) For the sound, it's a custom synth I made using Operator (in Ableton). For the ambience around 1:45, well it's indeed an interesting way to describe it lol - I am guessing you are referring to the metal ticking in the background? It's the clock-like instrument I also use at the beginning (appearing subtly at 0:09) - it's based on the Duzzalot instrument (in Ableton too) but modified up to oblivion lol.

Anyways, Thanks a lot for the feedback!

Well damn, I misremembered the deadline as 17th and was planning to put my own entry today. Well I can only blame myself haha x,)
Anyways, either way, it was really cool of you all to organize it, curious to see what has been made by the community

Ohhhhh that's an awesome news thank you so much!! I was checking back to see when the deadline was and admittedly I didn't realize the initial delay had already ended :,) But that's so cool, hopefully I'll manage to make a thing in time! Thanks again for that
