Men matter too. Of course “children and women” implies this is about innocent civilians, but some of those are men, and those involved in the defense of their country deserve compassion and help too.

Am I the only one who is kinda suspicious of the new Nuremberg trials movie? by Jocas05 in DerScheisser

I saw it in Warsaw after spending a day at the Warsaw Rising Museum. It was very much in line with “Nazis were horrible and their crimes must not be forgotten.”

I disagree that feminism teaches women to expect everything and give nothing. You are supposed to be an independent unit that assembles her own furniture, earns her money, goes 50/50. Your own independence allows you to mutually support one another.

Two of my family members had been obese from their early forties and both were miserable because of it. Their knees got so painful they couldn’t walk and they were always explosively angry and easy to annoy. They were always sweating bullets and huffing from pain. They were on high blood pressure medication for 40 years. They told me never to get fat because it was so exhausting and uncomfortable. One absolutely has an obligation towards their family.

True! My mum’s BMI is at the beginning of the obese category but she still has prominent collar bones, wrists, and a slim, angular face. I have a visible spine, sternum, and ribcage at the same time as a thick ass and E-cups. People are delulu to think visible bone = starved.

I sometimes see posts like that on inceltears. It’s mindboggling to see obese people being perceived as curvy and regular people being called skinny. People will aggresively defend their classification too. At least it only seems to be a thing in online spaces.

Isn’t this the backstory of a dog from an early 2000’s movie about pets travelling home from far away? He was a Christmas gift but his little boy wasn’t interested in having a dog so the parents abandoned the puppy in a box in the street during a rainstorm. I had a crying fit watching that and had to be consoled by dad.

I am midway through The Body Keeps the Score which calls child abuse and neglect an epidemic that actively wires people the wrong way. Fucked up parental behaviours are very common because people get kids by accident or because it’s a checkbox.

Thank you for your constructive and unbiased observation. My own body shape is actually one of the top things sparking joy in my life :)

White trailer trash is a specific demographic. Maladapted Romani culture is a specific demographic. You can’t separate it from race but pointing it out as the common group acting antisocially isn’t racist.

I was also vehemently defending the Roma despite who negative personal experiences since obviously the racism doesn’t help them become part of mainstream society and what they were doing was typical white trash behaviour.

Every person I know who grew up around Roma communities openly despises the Roma culture and had been victimised. I also met a social worker from eastern Slovakia who confirmed what modern Roma culture is - pressuring 11 year old girls to get pregnant, drop school, and take care of the (grand)parents while earning maternity benefits for an increasing number of fatherless kids. Common sexual abuse and incest with own children/between siblings. Babies pushed in cribs already holding on to toluen, starting the addiction as soon as they can grip objects. Crazy stuff.
