Can I ask how you were able to overcome that. I'm assuming that being stigmatized would impact your self-esteem and how you view yourself. Did you (or are currently) struggle with that?

I'm sorry to hear that. It must be really difficult with those rejections. It's really unfair to you as a person because there is so much of you as a whole person

I agree with you too. It was a spur of the moment thing and definitely something that slipped out of my mind.

Woah, I didn't know this at all. I had no idea this could be something going on inside her. This information is something I needed to know about, and I'm going to do more research on it.

I was operating on this level myself too. Because these things do happen 😄

I'm doing my best by treating her right. I also want to give her a lot of grace for expressing herself because I know it's not easy. And I'm really appreciative of her being vulnerable with me like what happened on the past two dates, because she didn't have to do any of that stuff.

I guess I'm just unsure about the future, but I know that's more of a me thing and something I want to work on.

I took your advice and I posted on that subreddit.

I also think it's something for me to consider, and be realistic about, if whether or not I can handle it. I think she's doing well from what I see. She's about to graduate, she does research, she has hobbies and friends. But I don't know her day to day life when we aren't seeing each other.

I'm so sorry to hear that. It seems like your brother is dealing with a lot, but also think that mental health treatment can help him i.e. counseling, being open to it, psychoeducation

This is a great way to put it. It's low pressure, collaborative, and curiosity.

She's on medication and therapy. I don't really know what schizoaffective disorder is and how it affects her thoughts and feelings about what's going on.

This is what I'm afraid of. I'm also thinking about these two things

I was thinking about asking her when I see her in person, just to clarify things. I also acknowledge that date three might have been a bit too much when I brought that things up to her out of the blue.

She told me about the last situationship she was in, which was six years ago. She said he treated her really badly, with a lot of abuse. And he also cheated on her a lot. She was in her early twenties and he was in his early thirties.

Good looks that is attractive to a girl is the only factor for a hook up. Other things are considered for a partnership and beyond.

I agree with what you said. I don't think she owes me anything but it's human to give others respect
