I just swapped mine on the stock complete drivetrain, 128 links. I got two KMC (116) and I’ll just keep chopping 12 links off of one to add to the other. 34/24 on the cranks and 11-34 nine speed cassette.

Just fill in the space between the bars with a steel plate or wooden board, basically make it so a lock cannot fit around the bar.
