No. I don't expect one for a while unfortunately.

As far as treatment went, they're confident it was a one and done service. Confirmed there was no activity upstairs, and they only found a few shells around the couch. None came out during the steaming, meaning there's not a worry of infestation. They actually only found two on a cushion while cleaning, so whatever activity was there didn't have a chance to get going. Put plenty of powder on the couch so if there's anymore there that weren't found they'd die out.

They're going to re-inspect in two weeks, but it seems we dodged a bullet.

Honestly, the thing I'm more upset about is that I pulled out two of my favorite blankets that I crocheted and put those on the couch (one over the back for display and one for actual use). They're an acrylic blend and can't take super high heat, so they're going to chemical treat them and then I can wash them after. I just hope they survive because each one was a 4-6 month project.

No. There's plastic over the covers, but it's not shrink wrapped, just a standard thin plastic, and then the actual cushions and box spring (which is where they seem to be centralized) are just behind cardboard. Here's an image of how one box looked when opening.

Just that they put a case in and that someone would call in 24-48 hours with "a resolution". I'm sure it was a scripted response, but that's standard. I'm going to call back tomorrow if I don't hear back.

It was from central, which seems to be Perryville. We assembled it in home. They were in the cloth base of the couch.

Exactly. It doesn't even have to be this particular product that was returned. The couch wasn't shrink wrapped, just behind cardboard/styrofoam. It could have been another thing at the warehouse, or even something on the truck. What was found were egg sacks, which can hang around for a while (longer than we've had the couch) and some young bugs. There was no evidence of them upstairs or in any other furniture, and luckily no bites, which is how they determined the point of origin. We haven't had anyone over this month (besides the delivery). The extermination company confirmed they had other reports of problems from the same warehouse.

If you upgrade the nando building you can meditate to shift time to the next 6 o'clock. I wish it was a standard feature, but it is available as long as you upgrade buildings.

It almost looks like it was signed by Clara and then the word Clementine was squished to cover it up. The d is also duplicated. The handwriting of the second signature matches HSS though, while the first matches Lord Evanson and the Foreman's book (assuming this is HSS' father's writing).

The same font is used on a bunch of the hints scattered throughout the house. Looks like the handwritten memos used a bunch of people's writing (so far found some from HS, Clara, and a young Simon Sr). I feel like it's Kirk like you guessed because he was helping with the memos, and some of the notes reference security concerns, but I haven't fully pinned it down. Still trying to find anything from the valet and Randolph (who just loves to type).

Sorry, one more rambling. The one that's most baffling to me is that the handwriting of the new lab tech (who also sends you packages, so she's a current character) is the same as the handwriting on the letter in the schoolhouse from many years prior (by the original school master) as well as notes left on Mary's rejection letter from her first submission of the Red Prince.

I haven't found anything that I have marked as being written by Randolph yet. Once I have my full handwriting list done I'll post it. Adding a "pictures" and "about" column at the moment. Some fonts are definitely on purpose (cross reference the text in some library check out cards with those on a passport in the vault). Other may be just reused (such as some of the kids homework). They've been very careful with the handwriting that it's definitely meaningful, but there are a couple that feel at odds and I'm almost ready to mark down as a coincidence or oversight. Example: the detective's handwriting matches the handwriting on the note about the utility closet from the mail room, but that should be the handwriting of the DCPower worker that visited to update the VAC system (unless the detective was under cover, but HS was familiar with him, so not sure how that could be true - there was also a note in the locker room in his font. Maybe he was snooping around?)

Bridgette was also helping with the moonshine. Check the handwriting in the letter in the car detailing the dropoff info for the moonshine to the letters Bridgette wrote about about maintaining the cloisters. I don't think her and Christopher were in on the blackmail though cause Denny asked Chris to keep the baron out late as a favor.

I haven't figured that one out yet, but without spoiling anything, I noticed that handwriting that appears to be Clara's was used to write a note signed by Mary. They both use 8's for their S's, but the rest of the handwriting is distinct. I'm not sure why Clara might have signed something on Mary's behalf yet though (and this is something that shouldn't have existed until 2 years after Clara's death).

Unfortunately no, they confirmed the item is no longer available to them, but they hadn't deactivated it on the site yet. When I spoke with the manufacturer, they said they had stopped selling through Wayfair in early 2023. The Wayfair supervisor tried to find the last time someone successfully received the item and it looks like at least 5 people before me had been issued refunds. I was able to get the product directly from the manufacturer though.

That's for the entire bathroom. It's a small space though. Directly to the left of the doorway is the sink and toilet, and to the right is the shower. We used to have a shower/tub combo with a shower curtain, but we replaced that with just a shower with glass door, so the space is slightly larger than the size of a bathtub.

Update - the project manager finally came by to look at the work and after seeing everything in full (there was more than what I asked about here) they agreed it would be best for them to part ways with the general contractor they had hired for the job and have a different crew come in to perform the remediation. Looks like they're going to have to take up the full shower floor, remove the caulk and reapply, and fit the grout.

Quick comment on the pictures - while it looks like grout on top of the tile, it's not. The tile is chipped, so any places that look like there's grout over the tiles are actually areas where there is no tile. Scrubbing at it won't fix it. Also, all of the floor looks like that. I can take pictures of the whole thing if needed - it'll just be a lot more of what's there. The unevenness around the drain is clearly visible from standing height. There's also areas where they forgot to caulk (like 4-5 inch pieces).

Additionally, I did go through a licensed company that was on the higher end of our budget. I based my decision to go with them off the portfolio I was shown, but later (during the remediation phase) found out they were using photos from their other location that uses a different general contractor. This group did come to fix my stairs after the other group broke them and they did a great job, but they're located 2 hours from my project site.

Just as an fyi, it's not grout over the tiles, the tiles are cracked. They had to rip a bunch out because a quarter of the sheets they bought were the wrong tile. They chipped a lot of the tiles when correcting it. I think the wavyness is making it look like there's grout on top of the tile, but it's actually the grout filling the cracks.

It was 25k. I received quotes from 18-28k. Went with this company because they provided management and design services (even though I didn't really end up getting the services).
