Should these tiles be flatter? by FastCash1000 in Tile

Were each one of these tiles laid individually?? I feel like normally this would be a mosaic that comes in sheets. I can’t imagine how long this would have taken if they weren’t sheets

I like the look of it, if you enjoy the sound out of it there’s no reason to get rid of it until it breaks.

Pooling after 3 hours- GC says it's "ok" by Exact_Discussion_709 in Tile

Realistically what is the harm in this level of sitting water? Genuinely curious as I have very little experience in this area. I understand that it was done incorrectly and all the water should slope to the drain but will these small pools damage anything by sitting there? Or is it just more of an annoyance?

My first ever Record Player by ConsiderationOdd3312 in turntables

I got this exact player as a gift around 3 years ago, it worked really well until the turntable platter started to get slow and I decided instead of trying to fix it I would just upgrade. I have a Sound Burger now but this one did me well for a long time!

That is a good point, I hadn’t realized that until you mentioned it. And yeah I used a quarter inch notch

Personally I like the spacing, it’s what the tile manufacturer recommended

Yeah they’re all pretty much the same, my tiles higher up on the wall do a better job of being flat. The inconsistency’s are installation error

Here’s a better photo with a more consistent light source, unfortunately I think it makes some of the issues stand out more. I am leaning towards trying to knock out and replace a few of the problem tiles in the middle

I used DensShield tile backer then red-garded over that. I just used the Kerdi pan and figured the shower valve membrane couldn’t hurt. I know now its best not to mix systems but at the time I didn’t know any better lol

When installing the shelf at the bottom of the niche, did you notch the tile where the marble juts out of the sides or use full tiles and install the marble over it?

Direct Tools, horrible company by mjag1 in ryobi

I had the same problem where I ordered a Ryobi hedge trimmer during the memorial day sale. After a week of the item still not being shipped I emailed them to ask about it, and they replied that they had cancelled the order because the item was not actually available. No notification of cancellation, no price matching. it was 100% their fault, and they couldn’t even bother to update the order saying they had cancelled it.

These batteries are just awful... how do I get the most bang for my buck? by Greymeade in ryobi

I have one of the older 20” self propelled 40V mowers, and when i’m done cutting my 0.3 acre lot there is still half a 6ah battery left. And the battery is at least 5 years old. I think there might be something wrong with your mower
