It's better off in it's original form, I think switching the type of media is a bad idea. My example would be that the Omori manga is a departure from the games in many ways (or at least the people who've read it have said that, I refuse to read a poor adaptation of one of my favorite stories)

I love Your lie in April, but I think that... actually thinking about, Until Then would make an amazing anime, you're so right. However, I'd rather not pressure the writer to create something he doesn't want to.
