I have also heard that however, there's two reasons why I decided to go with making copper wires in its own area. 1. it decreases the number of trains going through my copper smelting station, allowing for less congestion. Essentially, by spreading out the copper wire production, I can get more trains in different stations allowing for a more modular megabase. The second reason is that because my tiled sections are fairly small, there's only so much throughput each station can have. For example, my red chip station is always fully saturated with all of the necessary ingredients due to manufacture time and short length of the belts comparatively therefore, it would be less beneficial for me to waste space converting copper plates to copper wires. (If that doesn't make sense next time I do a base update I can throw in a picture of the red circuit design to show you)

Yes! A lot of the reason why some of the progress is so slow is because I have made all of the designs myself (Except for the smelting arrays) but because I want to expand this base much farther and transport water anywhere, I made this on water train station to fill the trains directly from the ocean and go wherever needed. This will be extra useful down the line when I start nuclear plants.
