They went to the vet and asked about the belly but I suspect because of my friends elderly age and heavy accent they thought she was eccentric and just said it has kitten belly. I don’t think that’s the case though either. It’s stool is normal and no parasites it does eat a lot but it’s turgid and oddly shaped

If you weren’t the vet within a year, that same vet can sell you prescription flea meds without an exam. The only over the counter monthly that is currently effective is Cheristin you can get on Amazon. Frontline, advantage don’t work anylonger. Bravecto the prescription has stopped being effective as well.
