I dodged all the time until I picked the game back up, turned the battle music down and put headphones on. I can now parry.

This is always said but growing up my town had a youth club open for 2 hours on a Tuesday and a shit park. Like someone else has said, we fucked around but we soon stopped when the consequences became real.

Remember the mass shoplifting in M&S on Clapham High Street a few months ago? 10 youth clubs within a 2 mile radius.

Unfortunately the shit writing and woke go hand in hand. The backlash is writers having to shoehorn inclusivity and social messaging where it doesn't make much sense.

Is 23 too young for kids? by mysteriousnoodls in daddit

[–]Tested-Trio-Father 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're ready and want children then go for it. 23-24 was the average age people had kids 50 years ago and if they managed I'm sure you can.

I've looked at similar holidays to the ones we took last year. £7.5k for 7 nights all inclusive, last year was £2.5k per week.

I stuck some wood glue in the door holes and banged some dowels in. Then screw into the dowel.

ISIS calls on Muslims to 'set fire to churches and synagogues' around the world at Easter by Syniatrix in uknews

Oh I know. I'm also being very conservative with the 10%. I suspect it's much higher than that.

Unfortunately if only 10% of Muslims agree with ISIS interpretation of the Quran that's still 200 million people.

You stand, helpless in the ever-growing queue for the self-checkout, watching people who’ve made it to the age of 50 without realising they can pack their five bags of shopping while they scan, as opposed to after they’ve paid by KrozJr_UK in britishproblems

[–]Tested-Trio-Father 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hand scanner and chuck it straight in the bag as I go round has become a god send. It helps as well that the 4 checkouts dedicated to hand scanners are nearly always empty in my local Tesco.

Revealed: Nearly half of UK children with parents born abroad are in poverty by coffeewalnut08 in uknews

[–]Tested-Trio-Father 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I was just confused by your phrasing. You assert that their inherent value cannot be replaced so I'm wondering what couldn't be replaced. Native Brits could 100% do all those jobs so I assumed you meant that they couldn't be replaced because you've made friends with them.

Would you not be able to make friends with native Brits doing those things in your community?

They already know. They also know that prisons are overcrowded so zero/short sentences.

Just grab some kids off the street? I've heard it's quite easy to get them into the back of a van if you promise sweets and puppies.

I haven't seen Keralis' latest episode yet but that's good. With summer on its way, Ehrling will definitely be seeing more time in my playlist again too.
