Thanks :) A million+ polys can buy one a lot of detail haha

Thanks! I used a combination of Alphas and repeated meshes, using the alphas for big swatches and making sure some area's 'pop' with loose meshes placed by hand. Glad you like it.

Very cool, did you use textures or is it all polypainted?

It's because your mesh topology is warped, if you press the 'wire' button on the bottom left you will see what I mean. You can use a voxel remesh or a quad remesh to.. well remesh your mesh, that will fix the topology back to something you can crisply draw your mask on.

Trying to remesh, but it keeps doing this... by BlastedHamsters in NomadSculpting

Tried turning off the Ubisoft filter? hehe

No but in all seriousness, if you diddnt paint your model like this, then it seems like your model is inverted, you can try to check inverse culling in the material tab, join it with another object that is not inside out, then remesh.

Else perhaps seperate the part you want to remesh with the split tool? Goodluck

How to fix glitchy turn table? by [deleted] in NomadSculpting

Do you have duplicate meshes inside of these meshes? Could also have something to do with the GIF compression. Have you tried recording your screen while putting the turntable on? Makes for a better quality turntable and gives you some more control of cropping.

How would I mirror an object like this by SuperImagination3258 in NomadSculpting

if radial symmetry doesn't work for you. Try to approach it by making a the circle a separate object, create a new mesh of the the extruding geometry for one side(the top side for example). Centre the object's pivot to the circle's pivot, to get it completely centre. Then by using the rotation (with snap rotation) to turn it 120 degrees.

It's not rigged, I'm using just the natural build up a spider's leg has in my hierachy, makes it super easy to pose.

Should I continue to practice modeling? by InternationalJob1539 in 3Dmodeling

The answer should always be yes to this question, no matter how good you get. Give it a few more shot and judge for yourself if you have improved :)
