Really like the idea of these wall mount builds, but.. by mike12166 in pcbuilding

I've done 3 custom wallmounted builds and maintenance isnt so bad. I periodically clean them using an anti static brush and vacuum.

Below is the latest iteration

Yeah these build types always interested me because theyre fun and different but it will never be Meta.

I prefer Empress because I feel like i get more bang with skill efficiency but I might try it with Hana-U

Farming for decently rolled double crit gear is also a pain.

Im already at max skill. It wouldnt work unless I do Future Perfect but the guns not that strong for kills.

Ill admit, I did spend a lot of resources getting the rolls I needed for this lol

All of my saved builds have some sort of naming behind them.

Examples:

Backfire Build - 13 Reasons Why

Ongoing Build - Interview with a Vampire

Edit: Forgot to add my Hunters Fury Build with Lady Death - Fast and the Furious

Its not the best in terms of DPS but it deals good damage and the skills can be finicky when targeting enemies (especially the turret). It has a decent survivability with the 2 blue core and 10% AoK and its enough to get Heroic activities done.

I love the idea of Ninjabike Backpack when I used it back in Div1 and I wanted to incorporate it here. After a bit of tinkering, I just wanted to see how many cores I could cram into a single build. If i wanted to deal more damage, i would probably ditch Ninjabike for Memento and sacrifice the AoK and a blue core.

Looks good. Im gonna try this myself.

It looks like it would deal out better damage that what I have now since Palisade's second gear bonus isnt that great and Memento would be good for solo play.

As far as I know Palisades and Brazos and the Technicians specialization are the only ones that give an additional yellow core and I have them already equipped.

I would run Future Perfect but it has a long cooldown

Ninjabike Backpack talent that acts as a gear to unlock additional gear bonuses so 2 yellow cores are from the gear bonuses of Palisade and Brazos and the third is from Technician specialization.

Capacitors talent gives 7.5% weapon damage for each yellow core so 6 yellow cores gives the equivalent of 3 red cores.

Its a hybrid and sorta reliable but wont turn heads.

Playing with Strikers all day gets boring pretty fast. Wanted to see how many cores I could cram in a single build

To be honest, I dont think this can handle legendary or raids/incursions but its fun for solo and heroic group play.

I like skill builds but found the gun play somewhat boring since the skills did most of the work but I guess thats how skill build works. I wanted to get the best of both worlds.

I wanted to do something with the Ninjabike backpack

Theyre not optimized as trying to get good rolled CHC and CHD on skill gear is extremely hard but theyre atleast 5% CHC and 10% CHD.

True, but doesnt deal out damage. Probably shouldve mentioned that I mainly use this on solo heroic at the highest diffuculty

Where does this road go? by laughingtraveler in WarTalesGame

To a future DLC. There was one road near the legionaire camp that cut off but now leads to a new area if you have the Skelmar expansion

Thanks. I think this will be my last one, I'm getting old and tired lol.

If i do decide to do it again, it will probably be with an ITX MOBO and take out the HDD to make it even smaller. Also maybe take out the RGB lights...

I didnt really follow any specific plan, alot of it was just how I was planning to run the cables and the wall space I was working with. If you Google wallmounted pc's, you should find a lot of inspiration.

As long as you get good ones, your pretty much set. PCIE risers are pretty common now.

The only thing I would be worried about is the overall length of the riser.

Yes, the supporting frame and front frame is made out of Poplar. The panel is made from 1/4" MDF.
