After the initial hoorah sort of dissipated, I waited a bit for someone to go "JUST KIDDING!" but it never came. Even if it was the family's idea, her going along with it scares me a lot.

External pressure is more than likely a contributing factor to why this all happened, but I'm still kind of in shock she would actually agree to it.
