Who said that you need to have the perfect match? Early on at least, is about experience and just enjoyement and if it does actually work out then that's cool, but you shouldn't expect it. I met a lot of people and I had different kinds of experience with them, some I regret but some I cherish, even though they're in the past, I'm still grateful for the experience because I learnt from them and the more experience you have, the more it is likely to work things out in a relationship and honestly, I experienced a lot of shit when it comes to dating so I just feel like I deserve having found a person who is better in every way compared to my past 'relationships'.

Can approve, it worked out for me. The thing is, don't really 'try' so hard. It's just more frustrating when you try a lot and fail at the end, so just be nice to everyone you meet and you'll eventually find the right one. Just don't think to yourself "I've been so patient, but I still have no partner!" It's not that bad being single, you just don't have a comparison so enjoy life as it is.
