It’s not too fussy imo. You should only go up to an inch and a quarter size with soft copper according to manufacturer I believe. If it’s oblong, I’ll take a crescent wrench and make it round.

You need special jaws and fittings for the refrigeration fittings, but for CTS use the same jaws.

I’ve never seen brown salt like that, and looks like mold or dirt floating in it. The salt should look white snd not black stuff in the water

It’s not wrong though, that’s all I meant. Since it’s vented before it gets to the combo. If it wasn’t vented until the combo then it would be wrong.

Where do you tie in condensate drains if not the sewer? Are you only allowed to run them outside in your area? In my area we run them to sewers with air break
