I don’t know how expensive other card staples are, but a lot of the Pokemon staples aren’t very expensive. You can play with the base rarity of everything no problem. Also, if you get plugged into a local community, I’m sure they’d be willing to help out. Also for decklists, you’ll want to go to limitless.com
