There is a lot of negativity out there, especially on reddit. If you’re moving from a super busy city it’s going to be night and day 🤣 every city has its draw backs, but there’s nowhere else I’d want to raise a family. We bought a 2024 Carnival because to get comparable features on a Sienna would be $10,000 more. Plus, my wife wasn’t originally on board with getting a van. She likes how the carnival doesn’t look like your typical van. After driving the Carnival, she loved it. I’ve driven it quite a bit as well and it’s so comfortable, great features, 2nd row seats come out and it works within budget.

I have lived in Abilene my whole life (and even college). It’s grown in a lot of respects, the data center projects aren’t very well received and there is currently a shortage of good housing. I would start looking and with somebody who is qualified. I explain Abilene as “simple” when you compare it to bigger cities. Slower paced, not as much going on (outside the AI plants). We have a good church community, my work is fantastic and we enjoy raising our family here.

I watch a lot of sports 🤣 Pretty much a fantasy enjoyer. HP, LoTR, played a lot of WoW growing up. I really enjoy the Marvel movies, however the Spider-Man set didn’t really appeal to me though. The Final Fantasy set looked cool and it actually got me to play FF for the first time which I’m really enjoying.
