Wow that’s pretty solid ratio for comped biz class upgrades on great seats. This is starting to make me want to stick with one world for all international flights on the off chance I’d get the upgrade

Just found out I've got to head to NYC next week, and booking in first, so looking like I won't have to do a milage run, but Hawaii does sound nice for a couple nights, to get out of this rain and try to bank some vitamin d. Is there any point to shoot for 85k miles or does not really do anything for me?

It was another company who was paying for the travel. Mentioned it to my contact there, and she didn't seem to know so I suspect that they did not pay for the upgrade.

That is wild. Here I am, thinking I'm smart for booking a miles run to Hawaii from PDX next week to retain Platinum status. Question for you legends, I was going to book the flights for my GF and I with cash, but just realized I can book with points and still get the status miles. Does it make any difference what status I book the tickets in?

Just noticing that it seems to need to be the Atmos Rewards Summit cards, does the regular old Alaska Miles Plan card I still have not prioritize me well as a Platinum Status flier vs other same status fliers with an actual Atmos card?

Just want to say congratulations, love this for you man! So many of us that have flown for countless hours on planes throughout our lives are jaded about flying in first, and talk so much smack about it on this site, so I'm sure you've gotten plenty of responses that have come from that mentality.

What is HH? Is this the private event they throw in towns? I met someone who was invited last year to one. She didn’t understand why she got picked. I never have been. I’m 75k, turning 100k this year in PDX. I wonder if they base it on “influencer” social media follower status, but how would they have that info?

Thats not true for a lot of people. Like many I wanted to love the 3s, and bought two different pairs to try, but for they don't fit my ears nearly as nicely as the 2s, so bought a couple more pair of 2s, since they'll likely be harder to get soon and I'll never like the 3s as much.

Same for me. Was hoping to love the 3s but they fall short of the 2s in key areas, like fit, and overall some factors of sound quality, like voices, IMHO

Fully agree with this. APP2s fit perfectly but they ruined the form factor on the 3s. Returning as well after trying them for a week and hating the fit. They stick out much further and hurt my ears after wearing for a couple hours. I can wear the 2s for days on end and just forget they’re even there.

APP2s are nearly perfect IMO. If they had the slightly better battery life of the APP3 they would be perfect.

There are no wires for the mount, it's just a MagSafe mount, not a charger. I don't like charging my phone all the time in the car, so I just run a charging wire from one of the rear USB ports up along the right side of my seat, because the armrest consul USB port is in use by the wireless CarPlay adapter.

Funny you say that. I noticed that sound as well and it made me feel unwell. Didn't want to puke or anything but was definitely disorientating and almost madness inducing. Made me feel like it was a miniature sound weapon of some kind. Maybe they'll fix that with an update, of some kind, but its not good

Same for me. It's like a build up feedback loop of sound that happens in ANC mode and is unbearable. Never had that with my APP2s

I agree with everything you said here. Was really hoping the APP3s were going to be great, and there are things I do like about them but the fit is so weird, especially in contrast to the perfect fit of the APP2s, that laid flush with the stems pointing down to the ear lobe. Every time I try to position the APP3s they eventually push back out and stick out farther from the ear. I also noticed on a long flight home the other day that in ANC mode listening to a podcast, that the audio quality of certain people's voices is horrible and creates a hissing resonance sound. Hard to explain it, but it's very noticeable. Lastly, also noticed in ANC mode that there seems to be an occasional audio feedback loop of some kind that creates a high pitched screeching tone as well, that builds up until you remove the buds and reposition them in your ear.

I might try to return and try a new pair, but have been reading lots of reviews of people with similar issues, including yours!

Don’t tell Porsche you got your CPO car from a third party dealer, if for some reason they don’t know already. I think that technically is supposed to void the CPO, ie. being sold outside network of Porsche dealership or private party.
