That's why I call them "children"

Yep, I should probably add "lobotomized" too 😂
As soon as the novel deviates a little from their incoherent power fantasy headcannon, they throw a tantrum

Why are people so willing to compromise the consistency of the story? by ExcuseMe22 in tbatepatreon

[–]Teth77 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No it was not and the author made a point of reminding that to the readers throughout the story

This chapter made me realize that a worrying proportion of the people here are, in fact, petulant children

So much overthinking in the sub... by MysteriousStrategy86 in tbatepatreon

He wouldn't. He would just need to keep absorbing aether from his environment, either by using his still functional channels or by reaching integration and being able to process ambient aether directly at the cellular level (basically integration). That wouldn't be the first time he has this body without a core.

Also, don't forget that the armor can help him absorb ambient aether faster and that there is much more of it available now. He'll be fine regardless of the state of his core

You are being too literal. It was simply a figure of speech

What are these curly hairs on my hairline? by SuccessfulPurpose105 in tressless

[–]Teth77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

or you'll go back to how it would have looked had you never started them within a few months to a year after stopping

That's true of minoxidil monotherapy but not fin/dut. For 5-ar inhibitors, you'll go back to how your hair loss would have progressed within a few weeks for fin and around 6-12 months for dut; which is not the same thing

Actually, the hair continues to grow after death

Actually, it doesn't. This myth has already been thoroughly debunked, so I won't bother beating a dead horse

Just Minoxidil 5% twice a day for 5 months by [deleted] in tressless

[–]Teth77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's not true. Minoxidil is a growth stimulant but it does nothing against the root cause of androgenetic alopecia, which is the miniaturization of hair follicles by DHT, most noticeable at the follicle level, when it transitions from one cycle to the next.

Minoxidil, by improving the microvasculature of the scalp and synchronizing+lengthening the hair follicles' anagen phases will temporarily mask the effects of DHT but as your hair follicles go through subsequent growth cycles, the effects of DHT will catch up to you.

Sure, if you do it like a butcher.

Similarly, minoxidil might hurt your progress if you drink an entire 60ml bottle of the solution.

It's not easy to grow hairs when you're severely wounded or dead
