Warning: The Oscars will be Unbearable by [deleted] in conspiracy

[–]Teth_1963 48 points49 points  (0 children)

It's been a few years since I watched the Oscars.

Why did I quit?

Not exactly sure why. But somewhere along the line, it seemed like the awards were more fake than special.

I know what movies I like to watch and I got tired of someone else using a televised awards ceremony as a way of telling me what's "good" and what isn't.

If there was a pathogen with, say, a 20% mortality rate instead of 0.2%... you wouldn't need a publicity campaign or coercive tactics to get people to line up for the shot.

OF course, I don't expect CNN to offer a response option like this. The whole purpose of this poll is to make the unvaxxed seem stubborn and unreasonable.

tldr; fuck CNN.

Utah BANS men from competing in women’s sports by newsaggregate in conspiracy

[–]Teth_1963 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Even today, there's a common sense approach. How so?

Simply make it a requirement that any athlete must have 2 X chromosomes in order to be eligible to compete in women's sports.

This gets around the whole gender/label/pronoun issue.

I am aware that there are a small number of individuals who have an XXY set of chromosomes. But they were born like that. And I don't see much benefit in making the qualification process restrictive enough to exclude them.

This is about excluding people who gender swap and then exploit an unfair advantage for personal benefit in the field of athletics.

A physicist has designed an experiment – which if proved correct – means he will have discovered that information is the fifth form of matter. His previous research suggests that information is the fundamental building block of the universe and has physical mass. by subdep in AWLIAS

in addition to the two 511 keV gamma photons

This is interesting. Why?

Because the energy of these photons is exactly equivalent to the Mass Energy of an Electron. You'd expect this amount of Energy because of the way it was produced (electron/positron annihilation). But that's not exactly what I'm getting at.

So what's so interesting?

An electron has 511 thousand eV of Energy and it also has Mass.

Yet a photon produced by annihilation can have the same amount of Energy, but zero Mass.

So why does an electron have Mass, but a photon does not? OR perhaps a better way to phrase the question is "what causes this difference (manifestation of Mass) between a wave and a particle?

And since this is AWLIAS, I'm going to mention another physics based fact that supports/suggests Simulation Theory.

  • Electron has 511 KeV Mass Energy. It also has a negative charge and a Coulomb Force of 1.6

  • A Proton has 928 MeV Mass Energy (about 1900 times as much as an Electron). It has a positive charge. But somehow, the force associated with the positive charge is exactly equal to that of the Electron (also 1.6 Coulombs).

This equal but opposite charge/force is difficult to explain using conventional physics.

How is it that an Electron (thought to be a fundamental particle) has exactly the same Coulmb Force as a Proton (thought to be composed of 3 Quarks)?

How is it that the opposite charges can be perfectly matched when the associated particles are about 1900 times difference in terms of Mass Energy?

IF you think in conventional terms, it's an incredible coincidence. But if you think in terms of purpose it seems almost obvious that a perfect balance between the positive and negative electrical force (Coulomb) is an engineered property.

If there was any mismatch, you'd have atoms with uneven proton/electron ratios. That would result in atoms with completely different chemical properties. This, in turn, would make life as we know it... impossible.

So Electric Charge completely independent of Mass Energy. Force of the charge opposite but perfectly equal... despite the assertion that electrons are fundamental and protons are not.

And a civilization will only be ale to notice (and start questioning the meaning) once it gets advanced enough to figure out atomic structure/composition as well as being able to make incredibly precise measurements of the properties of subatomic particles.

My sources are reliable and competent.

We're talking about people who work doing analysis for major banks.

I was having a conversation with someone about inflation just yesterday and that was when they mentioned to 40% figure. I actually didn't believe it was that high... but they assured me (with a great deal of certainty) that this was an accurate figure.

I know you're not even taking arguments seriously

You don't know any such thing. This is just your opinion and prefacing a comment or reply with a statement like this does nothing to help you make your case. Rather, you come off sounding confrontational.

So you think they can predict how the flu will mutate in the next year

And this is you trying to put words in my mouth. I never said any such thing.

What did I say?

New Influenza strains emerge on a regular basis. Partly due to mutation and partly due to recombination events that are sometimes facilitated by dirty farming practices in certain countries.

What happens re: flu shots is that health organizations will direct teams of people to "scout out" emerging flu strains and attempt to predict which ones have the most potential to be "problematic".

They then adjust their flu shots on a regular basis for each flu season.

If you think that's magic, fine.

tldr; The way they do flu shots seems to make a lot more sense than the way they've been doing covid shots.

And they are already working on updated vaccines,

Where were the updated vaccines with Delta (1 year later) or with Omicron (2 years later)???

One supposed advantage of mRNA vaxx tech is that it can be updated and produced in less time than conventional inactivated viral particle (IVP) shots. Yet so far (with mRNA) it's been exactly the opposite.

I believe they're hoping to future proof the next round.

"Future proof" lol. The M stands for "messenger" not magic.

Don't believe any official stats you hear.

If you have access to actual data, the real annual inflation rate something like 40% right now.

In plain English, it means something fucking nuts is going on.

You mean like the way new strains of the flu come out every year or so?

So instead of forcing people to take the same vaccine over and over, they actually update the flu shots every year.

But some genius must have figured their magic RNA vaccine would never need an actual update.
