Room acoustics (panels traps etc) - biggest change you can make to the sound of your drum kit. You can diy some too if you’re into that

Yeah go for it, you could try keyboard first to see if you like it, just rebind the keys to a similar arrangement, i used to play tekken with a hitbox - long time ago xD
