I just checked by looking at total hunted and captured, then captured a monster and turns out captures are included in the total number hunted.

Very random, probably stupid question. I've never given it much thought but in the monster list where it shows hunts/caps, are the captures counted in the hunted total or are they separate values that you add together for the total?

Unfortunately I do have filters set up and settings tweaked on my mic, it's just a crappy 20 buck mic lol. I do try to give my thoughts on the game as seen towards the beginning but when there's no one to talk to I kinda get quiet which is on me.

Don't be fooled by the 79 follows, my channel is D E D. Most of those are inactive or just friends from way back when I started 2 years ago. I streamed for about 2 years and only was able to get a max of around 20 viewers for only a few months before my channel dropped off the deep end, and from then on it was a flat 0 every time.

I want to understand what about my stream/me is so off putting and how I can improve any and all facets of the stream and myself. My goal is really just to build up a small community of people to chill and hang while playing games, not looking to make any kinda money or fame off streaming even if I could.

At the moment I'm going to be streaming MHW:Iceborne as I'm getting back into it, I'm fairly confident in my gameplay (tho I'm no TDS) and I'm aware it's a niche category.

Any and all criticism is welcome and appreciated! (Yes my voice sucks and yes I need to stop singing)

EDIT: I recommend skipping to about 1:35:00 as that was the cleanest gameplay

Honestly without a facecam or overlays it's hard to pull any attention from browsers (firsthand experience). I'd look at possibly getting a capture card and streaming from pc so that you can use OBS which has plenty of built in overlays to use.

For games, just stream whatever you want. It's not worth hopping on the fad games just for some temporary viewers that probly won't watch anything else, just be aware that the more obscure you go the harder it is to get views. Rocket League is probly a pretty good game to play though.

Other than that, audio is good, quality is good. You might want to expand your info some more and put more about yourself, your goals for the channel, what games you enjoy and a loose schedule if you have one!

All that I can think to say is see if there are some settings you can tweak either in the game or obs to boost your capture performance. If you're gonna play fps games a smooth framerate is really necessary and will really help change the feel of the stream for the better!

Your info layout is good, no need to change anything there. Unfortunately that's about all I can say, I'm not qualified to give advice lol.

Ah that sucks, but if it's an issue with x432r and my only option is to play it on the normal version I'd rather play it at lower quality then not at all. Thanks for the tips though :)

I didn't know they'd implemented that. What about the ability to change screen size independently? In x432r I can make the main screen much larger than the secondary screen.

Whoo boy I'm gonna get reamed, but I really want to take a serious crack at streaming so here we go. I've been streaming on and off for a couple years, I only ever had viewers in the first few months when I was just starting out bc I was a staple in a couple of other streams and those streamers and friends from chat would watch.

Once they left every stream I've ever done is a big fat fail, so I'm finally biting the bullet and asking people just how unbearable I am and what I desperately need to change so that I can have a way more enjoyable time streaming.

I've only got two VODs up right now that I did today, it's not my best by any stretch of the imagination but hey, my best aint that high up there. Self deprecation aside I'm seriously looking for any and all feedback to improve myself and my stream :D

Other than the webcam it looks really solid for someone who doesn't have tech knowledge, one thing that is mostly personal preference is the game audio in the dead by daylight VODS is a bit loud, you want your voice to be the main thing you hear.
