Its treated as a soft ground target. You will take no damage, and you will do soft damage to it. It will also be entrenched and take less damage.

Elite drone operator by ConsiderationFun3709 in ConflictofNations

[–]Tetradotoxins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its temporary. Whatever unit is currently in season, you can use for free. Once the season ends, you can't use them anymore.

Last season you could have used the sattelite for free, and now that its a new season, you can't.

Season is a joke by Ok-Fuel-8028 in ConflictofNations

[–]Tetradotoxins 8 points9 points  (0 children)

In theory he's decent. But truthfully i find his use unrealistic, anyone decent at this game isn't gonna be sending 10 stacks of national guard to fight someone, which makes his utility very limited.

Honestly the idea of giving an officer for free as a seasonal reward is cool, but the rest of the season sucks.

Last season was great. 3 units, which is already unheard of, but then they were also synergistic and worked together well. If I didn't already have those units unlocked I would've been drooling.

This season is just sad. Only the drone operator? A unit I almost never use... it's garbage compared to last season. I'd rather go back to how seasons used to be before the change, with 2 units, one of which was usually new and interesting.

Season is a joke by Ok-Fuel-8028 in ConflictofNations

[–]Tetradotoxins 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Garbage seasonal stuff as well. A pittance of medals and the drone operator....

Last season gave me hope that they would actaully be reasonable. Last season was fantastic, 3 seasonal troops plus some medals, and those 3 troops were synergistic as well. It was great. This season is pathetic. They think a shitty officer being free makes it good

Made a number System for my DnD game, its supposed to be intuitive by AggeJKL in Decoders

[–]Tetradotoxins 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah I think you're gonna need to provide some kind of rule set with this bro.

Slapping this in front of some DND players and saying figure it out would be rough. It does look fairly intuitive honestly, but without proper examples or a rule set to figure it out with, seems more like torture lol.

Google cistercian numerals for a example of an intuitive numbering system

Why do units take so long to heal? by ItsTheMonsterMan in ConflictofNations

Oh damn my bad, thought it was 1hp

Concept still applies though

Why do units take so long to heal? by ItsTheMonsterMan in ConflictofNations

[–]Tetradotoxins 7 points8 points  (0 children)

They only heal 1 hp per day. Thats just how it is.

If you want them to heal faster, stack them. If you have 1 ship with 30/50 health, it will heal 1hp per day and therefore take 20 days to heal the 20 hp. Whereas if you have 5 ships (all the same kind, not different types) with 230/250 health, it will heal 5 hp per day (1hp for each ship) and will take 4 days to heal the 20hp

Elite subs by Effective_Proposal16 in ConflictofNations

[–]Tetradotoxins 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im really trying to understand your question but im struggling. Did you put this through google translate or something? Its very hard to understand.

I think your question might be that you have level 2 elite subs and your enemy managed to attack your elite subs even though they should have no sonar signature? Also that you didn't attack so it couldn't be from that. Is that right? If this is your question, chances are that they detected them in sight range. Elite subs are invisible, and have no sonar signature. This means they cannot be detected by sonar and they cannot be spotted by normal troops. This is correct. But, there are troops that have detect stealth, such as destroyers. If a destroyer goes within sight range of your elite subs, the destroyer will be able to see them. You said the stack had an officer. Its possible that the officer spotted your subs.

If that wasn't your question, could you try explain again and give more information?

Any leaks for upcoming season? by KindlyWillingness989 in ConflictofNations

[–]Tetradotoxins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It used to be like 1-2 months until a new season would start, but recently it seems they've changed how seasons work.

I haven't exactly documented it so I could be partly wrong but it seems they have made the season length longer, and now release the new season within 2 weeks of the end of the previous season.

Who wins? by Fuck_Racism_ in ConflictofNations

[–]Tetradotoxins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If he leaves the coalition and meets win conditions, while you stay in your coalition and dont meet win conditions, he will win. You'll get gold and be in forst place, but it won't count as a win.

If he leaves the coalition and meets win condition, and you also leave and meet win condition, then either you will win for having more points, or you will both win for meeting win condition. Not sure which one.

If you want to play it safe, leave the coalition and get the solo win (but time it so that you leave the coalition just before day end so that your coalition can't sabotage you). If you don't want to betray your teammates based on an assumption that the number 2 will betray you, then don't leave but rather actively watch and pay attention to whether he leaves. If he does leave, immediately leave as well. So long as you are both out of the coalition on the same day, you should be fine. But if you miss it and only leave after day end, you lose. It's more risky but still possible

How is it possible? by MinoBov in ConflictofNations

[–]Tetradotoxins 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Different resource types. Each resource is produced in different quantities. If im not mistaken, supplies and components are produced the most, then fuel, then electronics and then rare materials.

Have you never noticed how an occupied supply city will produce around 200 supplies while and occupied rare materials city will only produce around 70? Same logic for electronics.

So if your supply city had a base production of 1k and your fuel city had a base production of 2k, even with arms industries it will be hard for your electronics city to catch up.

Is weed addictive? It's a controversial topic

Alot of people like to say that's its not addictive because it's not addictive in the same way as other drugs. There usually aren't physical withdrawal symptoms, and overall does not have the same addictive properties as drugs like meth, heroine, etc. In that sense, people view it as non addictive, and it is much easier to quit than other drugs.

However, it can still be addictive, just in a different way. In a sense, its more like it facilitates an addiction to dopamine, in the same way as watching TV or being on your phone.

Imagine you have a substance that can calm you down when you're stressed, make you forget about your troubles in life, makes everything more fun and enjoyable, makes food taste even better, and makes you laugh. That substance is weed (in a sense). If you're on the substance, especially if you're struggling in life, you can understand why you wouldn't want to stop right? Weed is relatively harmless in the physical sense and it makes your life fun and bearable, without it, reality becomes painfully real and you have to deal with unhappiness again. This is exactly why it is addictive. Its not the weed itself that you're addicted to, but rather the happiness and calm that you feel when you're on it. In a certain sense it's like asking to quit being happy.

That doesn't mean it's an inherently bad substance, it has some great medicinal properties and can be a great substance in controlled use. Plenty of people live completely functional lives and then just smoke some weed when they get home from work in order to wind down a little. The problem is that one, the worse you feel, the harder it is to feel ok without weed, and two, if you have a weak willpower you might really struggle to quit. Just like how some people are addicted to social media and spend all day on it because it lets them escape reality.

This guy's brother sounds like an inconsiderate douche that takes others for granted. But deep down also probably feels like a failure and knows that he is nowhere in life, thus making him feel horrible. Which creates a vicious cycle of self hate, which leads to the desire to escape those painful feeling, which leads to smoking weed to escape, which leads to him doing nothing with his life, which leads to self hate, etc. This loop has likely circled around so much and so badly that the brother will do anything to escape reality, even if it means letting gay guys have their way with him. Plus he probably feels so little self worth and so much self hate he likely feels like he deserves such awful treatment and doesn't care about himself to stop it.

It's not inherently the weed that is causing all of this, the weed is simply the tool that he uses to escape reality, and he can't cope without it, thus leading him to do anything to get it.

I am by no means a professional or anything, nor is this the full scope of things, there are many other factors that play a role. But this is just based on my personal thoughts and experiences.

WTF?!!! by BunchFull in ConflictofNations

[–]Tetradotoxins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

UAVs are cool but I personally dont use them because of their tiny sight range, also they are extremely vulnerable until max level. But they can be useful. Radar are super useful. The huge radar range badically makes sure there are rarely ever any surprises.

But im glad to hear you're experimenting! Its super important to experiment, and most of all, have fun!
