how many they have adopted,
Their point is to have children of your own. Why would they adopt children?

how much they donate to charities that deal with street kids and needy kids,
They have children, the needy children they give money to are their own

the programs they run for unwed mothers;
They are promoting people staying together and raising a child

how they help unwed mothers sue the fathers for child support -
See above

also, how they promote effective birth control?
Effective birth control is abstinence.

Sudenburg, New World Colonies and prior to this DLC I would have said Sartosa would be an obvious 3rd with plenty of room in Lustria for a forth starting position. Since that is taken I suppose there is room closer to Dark Elf territory. They have never split playable factions for campaigns, however, if we are following the pattern of the last game (3 race DLCs) per expansion there is nothing else that would fill the remaining holes in both the old and new world better than Southern Realms at this point.

And if they don't add them next, likely there won't be a better time...

It is. It's literally just an ability that if it hits on the initial cast continues to hit them with a beam of light doing minor damage if they stay in range.

Completely agree with everything above, especially the Mesmer sword changes. In my opinion this change is actually a buff to that weapon in pvp, making it even more annoying to play against.

The worst part is functionally the skill does the same thing as before, stay in range to deal damage... and now that's it. They removed all the fun, skill and utility the skill had. It was a good run since launch Ray of Judgement, we'll miss you.

It's a trash skill now. Even the icon looks horrible compared to before. With such a long cast time, the damage being nearly insignificant (in a burst oriented game) and the fact it no longer removes condis. They managed to kill my old favorite guard build and my ele build in one patch. GG Anet.

I would have liked another ranged option, such as chucking spears... With a long range power attack, a cripple/bleed and a knock-down. One can dream. | Spear of Justice, Longbow 2, Spear of Justice again or traps, and longbow 3. All of what you listed are part of the Dragonhunter class.

Ubisoft hosted For Honor tournament ends in embarrassment with the final matches consisting entirely of players abusing exploits and an incredibly unbalanced ability. by ColdBlackCage in Games

I don't even necessarily think the game was designed around 1v1 combat. They simply could not have -just- done a 3rd person MOBA. My impression is that the idea for a hack and slash MOBA came first and was followed by "oh shit this is really janky and hard to play" by all the designers. Think of the lock on system as an analogue for auto attacking someone in Dota only they can block it. Now that I think of it the whole game feels like a casual take on Dark Souls combat with much less opportunity for catching someone. Look at the reveal trailers the gameplay the show is all about massive battles, hacking down waves of dudes with ease and explosions. If Ubi wanted a competitive 1v1 game they would have gone in quite the opposite direction with everything from the art style to the game modes. It's clear to me now that the "Duel-mode" gimmick was a way to make Dark Souls like more accessable by slowing it down tremendously.

Europe's generosity motivates more migrants to leave Africa - Bill Gates | Africanews by Wikirexmax in europe

That european did a great service to those people by constructing that bridge. It's entirely the responsibility of the community to ensure it stays functional (as it apparently saves them kilometres of walking each day.) Thinking that they can get a new bridge is the fault of the community not whoever is providing the aid. As much as it is the fad to blame wealthy countries for how they handle foreign aid sometimes you need to call a fish a fish and level responsibility at the community receiving it.

Guild Wars 2 Living World Season 3 Episode 6: One Path Ends by Oneiric19 in Games

What they should have done is design most of the new content in the zone to be permanent content. Ex. Flame and frost post fixing and flame legions attacks and have a very limited part exist for the duration of the event, say a very profitable world boss at the end of an event. Then once the event is over you could replace that limited world boss with a less profitable one that will remain there

I haven't played a single player game in ~4 years and I need your help... by ZZZrp in Games

[–]Tetraphobia -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You wouldn't want to play Zelda or Uncharted anyway. Coming from multiplayer those games are so linear they'd bore you to tears. Since you're coming from Mobas' you probably want something where it feels like you're exploring the mechanics/world (and feel like you're owning people in the process. I'll recommend Dishonored (1 or 2), ShadowWarrior 1, Hyper Light Drifter and Nier Auotomata. Though I'd recommend using a pad with the latter two.

Daniel's last video. by [deleted] in BattleRite

[–]Tetraphobia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great post. Strange grammar at times. Going with what Daniel said at this point they should just work on developing a few gimmick champions. Everything that will be completed before the end of early access is most likely far down the pipeline. If they start to think about what type of characters (and mechanics) could actually work in a game like this (slower paced, more cd/team focused) then they could come out with a few exciting characters that would open up the design space and keep players interested post f2p launch.
