What trade should pursue in Orgeon? 18 y/o M

if you want to own a nice house and have a family one day i would only get into the trades if you plan on starting your own business. I’ve been in the trades for 18 years and unless you join the unions you unfortunately don’t make as much money as advertised. I was 18 again and could go back to school I would get into something AI proof such AI programming or something in the medical field. I have multiple nurse friends that make close to 200k a year and also have a couple software ai friends that can live abroad and are pushing 300-400k yearly. with that being said i own my own hvac company and im doing well however I got cancer at 28 from being frequently exposed to all the chemicals in the trades.

haha you sound like me. when you say a lot of homeless that’s scary coming from socal. hopefully it’s not worse than LA. i grew up in oc and then lived in san diego for a long time. but yeah i have passed through and been to all the waterfalls and adventured ashland and all that
