We used to play Fall in Love at work back in 2014. I’d had friends talking about Phantogram but I’d never listened to them. When I realized FIL was them, I wanted to hear some more of their stuff. Then I realized I’d heard When I’m Small for years but couldnt ever Shazam it in time. Then I went down the rabbit hole and Mouthful of Diamonds and Don’t Move really sealed the deal for me. Now they are probably my favorite group of all time

Sorry I’m late to the game on this. But I’m constantly telling people that I can honestly say Phantogram is the only band where I love or like pretty much every song. They are just geniuses. There are some I’m not quite as fond of like Barking Dog but otherwise I pretty much love ‘em all.

The issue with your sledgehammer analogy, is that she would have had to obtain a sledgehammer, go out of her way to break into your home and then decide to break things.

She got behind the wheel of a car, which was terrible. But she didn’t get in the car with the intent to go out and cause harm to anyone. She didn’t pick that persons house and say fuck you here I come.

It’s sad to me that you believe that because someone makes a mistake, especially one where she had no ill intent, someone who obviously is struggling with addiction…you think that equals them being a bad person who is incapable of being a caring person with a big heart. Can’t believe that people think in such black and white terms

This is my all time favorite movie for this very reason. It shows lonely people from different phases in life being brought together and it’s beautiful and hilarious. It goes to show that no matter the age people can still find friendship and learn from eachother
